Browns signed G Colby Gossett, formerly of the Falcons.
Gossett started four games at left guard for Atlanta last year and one more game for the Falcons in 2021. He was initially drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Gossett will serve as a depth option for the Browns.

Browns OG Colby Gossett has opted out of the 2020 season.
Gossett recorded four starts with the Cardinals in 2018 but hasn’t seen any action since. He was on New England’s practice squad for a week in 2019. Gossett was unlikely to make the final roster in Cleveland but could have given some extra depth to the team’s interior offensive line. Pelissero reports that Gossett qualifies for the high-risk stipend.

Vikings selected Appalachian State OG Colby Gossett with the No. 213 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
Gossett (6’5/315) made 46 career starts at right guard for the Mountaineers, earning first-team All-Sun Belt in each of his final two years with just one sack allowed during that span. Although Gossett is a mere 25th-percentile SPARQ athlete, he has long arms (33 7/8") for an interior blocker and massive hands (10 7/8"), and pumped 32 reps on the bench in Indy. Experienced in a zone-blocking scheme and an outstanding reach blocker on tape, Gossett has mauler potential in the run game with enough length to compensate for his movement limitations in pass protection.

    Vikings waived OG Colby Gossett.
A sixth round pick, Gossett struggled with the jump from Appalachian State and dealt with training camp injuries. He’s a strong candidate for Minnesota’s practice squad.
