    Glenn was waived by the Colts during training camp after appearing in 19 games as a special teamer between 2009-10. He went unsigned the entire 2011 season. An undrafted rookie out of Rutgers, Barbieri spent the majority of the year on the Texans’ practice squad.

    Redskins fifth-round pick Cody Glenn admitted Tuesday that he lied to reporters when he said his senior-year suspension from the Nebraska football team stemmed from selling tickets to games.
    Glenn wouldn’t say what he really did, but at the time the school said he was banned for “violating team rules.” Asked why he lied, Glenn said, “It was just so people would kind of leave me alone, just go get them an answer.”

    Team trainers looked to be examining Conner’s leg on the sideline after he limped off the field. He was later seen being carted off to the locker room. Conner was starting at weak-side linebacker in the place of Clint Sessions, who was out with a hamstring injury. LB Cody Glenn replaced Conner. Conner did not return.
