Glenn was waived by the Colts during training camp after appearing in 19 games as a special teamer between 2009-10. He went unsigned the entire 2011 season. An undrafted rookie out of Rutgers, Barbieri spent the majority of the year on the Texans’ practice squad.

Glenn played 19 games with the Colts as a special teamer from 2009-2010. Bradley spent time on the Ravens practice squad last year after going undrafted out of Hawaii.

A converted running back at Nebraska, Glenn has a safety build but received high marks for athleticism and toughness. He’s expected to contribute at weak-side linebacker and play special teams for the Redskins.

Glenn wouldn’t say what he really did, but at the time the school said he was banned for “violating team rules.” Asked why he lied, Glenn said, “It was just so people would kind of leave me alone, just go get them an answer.”

The Colts inherit Glenn’s $1.925 million contract. The fifth-round rookie will be used on special teams, and behind Clint Session and Phil Wheeler.

Glenn, still raw at linebacker after converting from running back late in his college career at Nebraska, will likely land on the Colts’ practice squad.

Glenn, who didn’t make the Redskins out of training camp, will be a backup at outside linebacker in Indy while focusing mainly on special teeams.

Glenn had been a backup linebacker and special teamer, totaling four tackles in nine games.

Team trainers looked to be examining Conner’s leg on the sideline after he limped off the field. He was later seen being carted off to the locker room. Conner was starting at weak-side linebacker in the place of Clint Sessions, who was out with a hamstring injury. LB Cody Glenn replaced Conner. Conner did not return.

Conner was injured late in the first quarter and did not return. It left the Colts extremely thin at linebacker as Conner was starting in place of Clint Session (hamstring). Cody Glenn came on for Conner.
