Michigan four-star 2019 DT signee Christopher Hinton has received a fifth star from Rivals.
Rivals analyst Chad Simmons notes that the outlet was not completely sold previously on Hinton as a five-star candidate due to questions about his staying power as a defensive lineman -- and the possibility that he might actually have more upside working on the offensive side of the ball. The 6-foot-4, 274-pounder sealed his case for five-star status at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl earlier this month, where he played exclusively as a defender while showcasing improved quickness and power. Rivals now ranks Hinton as the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
