NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Packers interviewed Broncos DB coach Christian Parker for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
According to Rapoport, Parker, 32 “impressed” during his sit down with the Packers’ front office. Parker has served in various coaching roles at both the college and pro levels since 2013 when he was hired by Virginia State college as a defensive backs coach. The Packers then hired him in 2019 as a defensive quality control coach before the Broncos brought him on in 2021 to serve in his current role. His familiarity with the Packers and head coach Matt LaFleur could give Parker the inside edge on the job, but he is one of several candidates who have been interviewed thus far.
