Giants guard Chris Snee was released from a New York hospital this weekend.
He has missed a few games with a glandular infection that caused his neck to become swollen. He is unlikely to play this weekend.

Chris Snee left tonight’s game with a left ankle injury.
He will not return. Snee is known as a very tough player, so it could be a serious injury.

Giants G Chris Snee’s ankle is not fractured.
Snee left Sunday night’s game with the ailment. It’s still uncertain how much time he’ll miss, if any, as coach Tom Coughlin failed to elaborate on the extent of Snee’s injury. Rich Seubert is the top backup.

Giants RG Chris Snee (concussion) has been released from the hospital.
As has LS Zak DeOssie (concussion). Snee has been “sent home to rest.” The three-time Pro Bowler will likely miss his first game since 2004 when the Giants host the Bills this weekend. The Giants’ running game could take a hit. Jim Cordle, signed off the practice squad just six days ago, is in line to start.

Giants RG Chris Snee suffered a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the Seahawks.
The Giants, who were already playing with C David Baas, struggled to protect Eli Manning late. Snee, a two-time Pro Bowler, will have to spend tonight in the hospital for further observation. He was replaced by Jim Cordie.

Giants RG Chris Snee (concussion) has been medically cleared to return to practice.
Snee, who suffered the concussion against the Seahawks in Week 5, finally passed his concussion tests Tuesday. He’ll return to the starting lineup after the Week 7 bye, thankfully sending Kevin Boothe back to the bench.

Giants RG Chris Snee underwent elbow surgery last week.
Snee struggled at times while playing through the injury during the season. He labeled the surgery “something that had to be done.” A source familiar with the surgery said it was essentially a “clean-out” procedure. Snee has “full intention being out there in OTAs.”

Giants RG Chris Snee (hip, questionable) is expected to play on Sunday against the Browns.
Snee has been the lone mainstay on the Giants’ offensive line, starting a possible 115-of-116 games over the past eight seasons. He’ll be seeing a lot of the Browns’ Ahtyba Rubin on Sunday. David Diehl (knee, doubtful) was seen in sweatpants on the field in pregame, so he’s not going to play. Will Beatty will start at left tackle with Sean Locklear on the right side.

Giants RG Chris Snee is playing through a partial tear in the labrum portion of his hip.
Snee has consistently shown up on the weekly injury reports, but has not missed a game yet this season and didn’t emerge from Sunday’s win over the Browns any worse for the wear. New York’s offensive line has experienced a turnaround this season after being the one major weakness of last year’s Super Bowl champion.
