Vikings restructured the contract of OG Chris Reed.
Reed restructured his contract with the team earlier this offseason and has now done so again. Initially set to earn $1.4 million with $600K in guaranteed money, Reed will now earn a fully guaranteed $1.165 million this upcoming season. Reed is expected to serve as a backup to start the season but is valuable depth with 30 career starts to his name.

ESPN’s Field Yates reports the Vikings have cleared about $1 million in cap space through a restructured contract with G Chris Reed.
Reed was brought to Minnesota prior to the 2022 season to serve as a depth piece along the interior offensive line. The journeyman veteran entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars and is currently with his fifth NFL franchise. He’s made just 30 starts to this point in his career.

Vikings signed G Chris Reed, formerly of the Colts, to a two-year contract.
Reed opened the 2021 season as a backup guard for the Colts. He wound up starting six games at a mix of left and right guard. Reed also started 14 games for the Panthers in 2020. He had been a backup, primarily with the Jaguars, up until that point in his career. The Minnesota State alum will play a reserve role for the Vikings in 2022.

Colts G Chris Reed (back) is questionable to return in Week 16 against the Cardinals.
Reed is filling in for Quenton Nelson, which means the Colts are now down to their third-string guard. They’ve also lost three additional starters upfront, leaving their offensive line in tatters.

Colts signed G Chris Reed, formerly of the Panthers, to a one-year contract.
Carolina picked up Reed’s club option on the cheap ($1.4 million) last year and ended up soaking a career-high 893 offensive snaps (86%) and 14 starts out of the 28-year-old on the interior line. He’ll serve as viable depth off Indianapolis’ bench, joining reserves Sam Tevi and Julién Davenport in that role.

Panthers exercised OG Chris Reed’s option for 2020.
The Panthers claimed Reed off of waivers in December. He’s expected to add depth and competition along the offensive line. Reed has played in 33 games since entering the league in 2016.

    Dolphins signed OG Chris Reed.
Signed by the Jaguars as an UDFA in 2015, Reed’s logged 724 snaps at left tackle and both guard positions with Jacksonville over the last three seasons. He’ll serve as interior depth on a washed Miami O-line.
