The Dolphins have requested permission to interview Texans LBs coach Chris Kiffin for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
Monte’s son and Lane’s brother, 42-year-old Kiffin has been an NFL assistant since 2018. He definitely has the right last name, though Kiffin is also an offshoot of the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree via DeMeco Ryans. There could be worse coordinating gambles to take, we suppose.
