Cardinals signed sixth-round pick Chris Harrington to a three-year contract.
Harrington was an end at Texas A&M, but will be tried at outside linebacker in Arizona’s 3-4. He’ll need to show extremely well on special teams in training camp to beat out Joe Tafoya and Bo Schobel for a roster spot.
  • FA Linebacker
Cardinals released LBs Brandon Moore, Matt Stewart, Chris Harrington, and Joe Tafoya, DB Michael Adams, and DLs Jason Banks and Keilen Dykes.
Moore was beat out by Monty Beisel and undrafted rookie Ali Highsmith. Harrington is a developmental guy. He was a sixth-rounder in April.
  • TEN Defensive Lineman
Jaguars signed DE Chris Harrington off the Cardinals’ practice squad.
Harrington is a bit of a tweener, but the Jags will likely try him as an outside linebacker in their 3-4 packages.
  • TEN Defensive Lineman
Bengals signed DE/OLB Chris Harrington off the Cardinals’ practice squad.
Harrington, a sixth-round rookie, will play defensive end for his new team. The Cardinals had been trying to develop him as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
  • TEN Defensive Lineman
    Jaguars waived DE Chris Harrington.
The Jags signed Harrington off the Cardinals practice squad in December. They have since revamped the defensive line, leaving no room for a tweener so low on the depth chart.
  • DET Defensive Back
Titans released CB Tye Hill and DE Chris Harrington.
Hill was slowed by a hamstring injury in camp, but he was a poor bet to survive final cuts regardless. Harrington was around for depth while the Titans got their defensive line back to full health.
  • TEN Defensive Lineman
Titans signed DE Chris Harrington and waived DE Marcus Howard and WR Phillip Morris.
Harrington will act as a preseason body while the Titans nurse their top ends back to health. Howard, a former fifth-round pick, has shown little in the pros. Morris was a 6-foot-4, 185-pounds project from South Carolina State.
