ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Bucs are finalizing a deal to hire Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Robinson joined Atlanta two years ago when the team hired Raheem Morris as their head coach. He had previously worked under Sean McVay for five years, working his way up to pass game coordinator for the final two. Robinson started off strong, getting Atlanta to 13th in points scored despite Kirk Cousins struggling in his first year as a Falcon. The switch to Michael Penix in 2025 didn’t go as planned and the team cratered to 24th in scoring. The hope for Baker Mayfield and company will be that Robinson was simply dealt a bad hand in Atlanta. The hiring bodes particularly well for Bucky Irving. Atlanta ranked top-10 in rushing yards in both of Robinson’s seasons with the team.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin Jr. caught his lone target for eight yards in the Buccaneers’ Week 18 win over the Panthers.
Godwin was not a factor again in Week 18, and unfortunately for fantasy managers who took a “chance” on the 29-year-old, that’s becoming a recurring theme. Injuries played a major factor, but this is the fourth time in five games that he was held under 60 yards. That’s a far cry from what was once one of the most effective PPR receivers in the sport. Godwin and the Bucs finish the year 8-9, and they’ll need a Saints’ win over the Falcons to play in the postseason.

Buccaneers added WR Chris Godwin (illness) to the injury report Saturday but he is expected to play in Week 18 against the Panthers.
Godwin is caught up in the sickness sweeping the league, with the team adding him to the injury report Saturday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the veteran receiver is expected to play as the Buccaneers fight to keep their season alive against the Panthers later today, giving quarterback Baker Mayfield his full compliment of pass-catching weapons in the must-win game. We’ll get final word when the team releases inactives 90 minutes prior to first kick.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin caught 7-of-8 targets for 108 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers’ Week 17 loss to the Dolphins.
Godwin tallied his best fantasy game of the season. He scored the Bucs’ first touchdown of the day on a five-yard pass from Baker Mayfield in the first quarter. Mayfield found him as a consistent target throughout the day and hit big on a 59-yard catch-and-run on the Bucs’ final drive in the fourth quarter. Godwin spent most of this season recovering from an injured fibula but is now at full speed and has WR3 utility for those still playing fantasy games in Week 18.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin caught 5-of-6 targets for 30 yards in the Buccaneers’ Week 16 loss to the Panthers.
Godwin has the short-area slot role for the Bucs, seeing targets at the sticks and in the flats. He averaged under seven yards per reception for the second straight game, running fewer deep routes with Mike Evans back in the lineup. Godwin saw one target in the red zone and was tackled inside the 10-yard line, but otherwise made no noise during Tampa’s scoring opportunities. With the Bucs offense dealing with inefficiency, Godwin’s ceiling is capped amidst a fully healthy pass-catching group. He has WR3 upside for Week 17 against the Dolphins.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin caught 4-of-5 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers’ Week 15 loss to the Falcons.
it was a very quiet day for Godwin, but he was able to not only get into the end zone on a connection with Baker Mayfield, but he also picked up the two-point conversion a play later on a pass from Mayfield. Godwin now has added competition with both Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan back, but he he’s in the WR3 conversation for Week 16 against the Panthers.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Chris Godwin caught 5-of-8 targets for 55 yards in the Bucs’ Week 14 loss to the Saints.
Godwin easily lead the Bucs in both receiving in target share with Baker Mayfield completing just 14-of-30 passes in the rain, but he had a costly bobble wipe out a potential fourth down conversion. Godwin at least looked healthy as he caught five passes for the first time all year. Godwin is headed in the right direction, but Mike Evans has a strong chance of returning for Thursday’s game against the Falcons. That would lower Godwin’s WR3 floor, which is bad news since he doesn’t really have a ceiling right now. Godwin will be a volatile WR4/second FLEX for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (fibula) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 14 against the Saints.
Godwin practiced fully on Thursday before logging a limited session on Friday. We suspect this was just rest. Godwin and rookie WR Emeka Egbuka will again operate as the team’s top-two wide receivers, with WR Mike Evans (collarbone) and WR Jalen McMillan (neck) having been ruled out. Godwin with a FLEX.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (fibula) was limited on Wednesday.
Godwin led the Buccaneers with 78 receiving yards last week, but the pass-catching corps could get a whole lot more crowded this week. Both WR Mike Evans (collarbone) and WR Jalen McMillan (neck) practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday after the team activated their 21-day practice window. Godwin remains FLEX-viable, but could struggle to increase his reception volume.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Bucs opened the 21-day practice window for WR Mike Evans (collarbone).
Evans gained medical clearance, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, and could suit up as early as this Sunday against the Panthers. Evans would likely take over as the team’s No. 1 receiver of struggling rookie WR Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin. Evans has 14 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown on 32 targets this season. His return to the Tampa offense is a fantasy boon for Baker Mayfield, whose efficiency has fallen off with Evans sidelined.
