Jaguars CB Chris Claybrooks was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery and false imprisonment.
Claybrooks’ arrest took place last Friday, but details on the arrest are just being released. The false imprisonment charge is a third-degree felony, according to an article published on Jacksonville.com. Claybrooks recently settled a case out of court in which he was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury, and vandalism and now has a new legal issue on his hands. Claybrooks was on the field when the Jaguars opened training camp, but the former seventh-round pick is likely on thin ice with the team and head coach Doug Pederson. Since entering the league in 2020, Claybrooks has appeared in 46 games while playing primarily on special teams.
