  • LAR Quarterback
Panthers cornerback Ricky Manning only knows Chris Chandler from his days on the original Tecmo Bowl.
Good call by Manning. Chandler, who was a rookie, helmed a halfway decent Colts squad led by Eric Dickerson on the original version of the game. We believe Bill Brooks and Clarence Verdin were his top receivers.
  • LAR Quarterback
Bears backup QB Chris Chandler will have to accept a pay cut or be released shortly.
Chandler isn’t necessary in Chicago at this point after the signing of Jonathon Quinn as a backup. He’d likely be the No. 3 quarterback.
  • LAR Quarterback
St. Louis signed backup QB Chris Chandler to a three-year contract.
The Kurt Warner release watch can officially begin. On the heels of the Rams pursuit of Drew Henson, one just can’t imagine Warner staying in St. Louis. They might be able to get mid-round draft pick for him.
  • LAR Quarterback
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch calls Chris Chandler the “likely starter” for Sunday’s game.
Marc Bulger threw a little on Wednesday, but the paper believes he’s still less than 50% to play. Chandler could post decent stats at Arizona, but we’d downgrade Isaac Bruce with him in the lineup.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chris Chandler threw for 243 yards, with one touchdown, and six interceptions in his first start of the season.
Coach Martz exposed Chandler to vicius hits all day with poor protection schemes. At least three of his interceptions were caused by tipped balls, but obviously the Rams need Marc Bulger back in the lineup.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chris Chandler will start at quarterback Sunday for the Rams.
He has a solid matchup and is a decent second-tier option. Marc Bulger is expected to return next week.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chris Chandler was pulled in the first quarter of today’s game.
He was 1-for-6 for 1 yard and an interception. 7 interceptions in five quarters is a crappy way to end a career.
  • LAR Quarterback
Coach Mike Martz slammed Chris Chandler’s performance after today’s game.
“It’s tragic for this football team, for that position to hold this whole football team hostage,” Martz said. Chandler reportedly threw the ball on a running play during the first series of the game. Martz wants to blame Chandler, but St. Louis’ problems run deeper.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chris Chandler completed 18-of-27 passes for 216 yards, a touchdown and an interception today, in relief of injured Marc Bulger.
Chandler should be picked up if you own Bulger. If Bulger’s injury is serious, Chandler will take over the reins of a pass-first offense.
  • LAR Quarterback
Chris Chandler is in at quarterback for the Rams.
Marc Bulger left the game with an injured shoulder.
