Patriots placed G Chasen Hines and T Andrew Stueber on the active/NFI list.
Neither lineman participated in the early offseason activities and this makes it fairly unlikely either of them will see major playing time in 2022. The Patriots will likely go with a line of Isaiah Wynn (if healthy), Trent Brown, Cole Strange, David Andrews, and Michael Onwenu.

Patriots selected LSU OG Chasen Hines with the No. 210 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Hines (6’3/331) is built thick and wide with a hard-charging, contact-happy style on the field. He gets out of his stance quickly looking for work. Because of his limitations moving laterally and his struggles reaching and putting away targets in the second level, Hines probably isn’t a fit for zone-blocking teams. But his phone-booth power plays downhill, and he drops a big anchor in pass-pro. He has some stylistic similarities to former collegiate teammate Damien Lewis.

LSU freshman OG Chasen Hines (knee) underwent surgery on Friday.
Hines (6'4/336) played through an undisclosed knee injury for most of his true freshman season, and he was forced into switching positions (from defensive tackle to offensive guard) late into the offseason. Despite the chaos, Hines was able to play in eight games for LSU, and he’ll be a starting interior candidate in 2019, assuming his surgery went well.

Uncommitted three-star G Chasen Hines named Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and LSU as the top-five programs in contention for his pledge.
A distinct Big 12 flavor permeates the Marshall, Texas, native’s list of top programs. He specifically cited the Longhorns’ hiring of HC Tom Herman as one of the draws with Texas. The 6-foot-2, 340-pounder collects just three stars on Rivals, but Scout.com is more optimistic in their assessment, tossing him a four-star grade. The latter outlet’s Gabe Brooks notes that Hines “possesses a broad, imposing frame with a strong base that helps him as a drive-blocker in the run game.”

LSU signed four-star 2018 OL Chasen Hines.
Hines (6'2/340) had been committed to LSU since March and signed with the program on Dec. 20. The Marshall, Texas, native projects as a potential center or guard at the collegiate level. 247Sports’ Gabe Brooks refers to him as a “drive-blocker” in the run game thanks to his strong base and big frame. On the outlet’s composite board, Hines ranks as the No. 275 overall prospect in the 2018 cycle.
