Chargers signed K Cameron Dicker to a four-year, $22.004 million extension through 2028.
The deal includes $12.5 million in guaranteed money and makes him “one of the top five highest-paid kickers in the NFL,” per Adam Schefter. He is one of just four kickers to convert 100.0 percent of extra point attempts (min. 25 combined FG/XP attempts) over the last two seasons. His 93.0 percent field goal conversion rate during that span ranks third.

    Chargers re-signed K Cameron Dicker.
The Chargers also re-signed OT Foster Sarell. Sarell saw some snaps at right tackle in 2023 but was primarily used on the kicking unit. Dicker connected on 31-of-33 field goal attempts last year. His only misses came on attempts from at least 50 yards out. He was perfect on his 35 PAT tries and also handles kickoff duties. He will be a solid fantasy option in 2024.
  • CLE Kicker #4
Chargers traded K Dustin Hopkins to the Browns for a 2025 seventh-round pick.
Second-year kicker Cameron Dicker won the Chargers’ kicking competition, making Hopkins expendable. Now, Hopkins will get a chance to win the Browns starting kicker job over Cade York, who has struggled throughout training camp and the preseason. Hopkins made both of his preseason field goal attempts and has converted on 84.8 percent of his attempts for his career.

Chargers tendered exclusive rights free agent K Cameron Dicker.
With Justin Herbert’s offense moving into Kellen Moore’s purview, Dicker should be a fairly popular kicker commodity in 2023 drafts. Dicker hit 21-of-22 field goals for the Eagles and Chargers in 2022.

  • CLE Kicker #7
Chargers placed K Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) on injured reserve.
He’ll miss at least the next four weeks. Hopkins has already missed an entire IR stint worth of time with his hamstring, which has kept him out since Week 6’s overtime Monday night win over Denver. Cameron Dicker will remain the Chargers kicker going forward and was signed to the active roster.

  • CLE Kicker #7
Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) will not play Week 9 against the Falcons.
It is not a surprise after coach Brandon Staley called Hopkins week to week on Wednesday. Recently signed to the practice squad, Cameron Dicker should handle the kicking duties for the Chargers this week.

  • LAC Kicker #11
Chargers signed K Cameron Dicker to their practice squad.
They also sent fill-in kicker Taylor Bertolet to the practice-squad injury list. This likely suggests that Dicker will fill in as Chargers kicker this week while Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) continues to heal up from his heroics in Week 6.

  • PHI Kicker #4
Eagles special teams coordinator Michael Clay said Jake Elliott (leg) has a chance to play Week 5.
The Eagles’ coaching staff gave praise to Elliott for his toughness and are optimistic that he’ll be ready to play in Week 5 after sustaining a foot injury. The Eagles did, however, sign Cameron Dicker to the practice squad. At the very least, they’re being cautious and preparing as if they will not have Elliott, who has been the team’s kicker for the past six seasons.

Rams signed Texas K Cameron Dicker.
Dicker (6'1/216) was not always consistent in field-goal kicking for the Longhorns, particularly early on in his career, but ultimately became one of the best players at the position in program history. He saw his best season of action in his final one, making 86.7% of his attempts. He missed just two field goals, one between 40 and 49 yards and another of 50 yards or more. Dicker has missed just three combined extra points over the last three years, sending 49-of-50 PATs through the uprights last season. Dicker stands at fourth in program history with a career field goal accuracy of 75.9%. Dicker will not be beating out Matt Gay in Rams camp but could showcase his wares for other teams.

Texas senior K Cameron Dicker has been added to the Reese’s Senior Bowl roster.
Dicker (6'1/210) announced on January 19th that he was foregoing a final season of eligibility and heading to the NFL. Heralded by some as the best kicker of the 2022 NFL Draft class, Dicker is Texas’ all-time leader in points among kickers, and was a first-team All-Big 12 punter in 2021. Last season, Dicker converted on 49-of-50 extra points, and 13-of-15 field goals, while going 1-for-2 on field goals of 50+ yards.
