    Vikings waived WR Silas Bolden.
Even with the Vikings in need of receiving bodies, Bolden didn’t do enough in camp to justify a roster spot. The Vikings also waived CB Reddy Steward, CB Keenan Garber, RB Tre Stewart, S Mishael Powell, T Logan Brown, OL Zach Bailey, WR Robert Lewis and DL Travis Bell to go along with the previously announced releases of QB Brett Rypien and OLB Cam Gill.
  • MIN Outside Linebacker #28
According to Pro Football Network’s Tony Pauline, Wagner LB Cam Gill did defensive end and some defensive back drills during his school’s pro day.
Gill (6'3/232) clocked in with an average time of 4.58 seconds in the 40 at Wagner’s Pro Day, but according to Pauline did not do any on-field work at linebacker. Instead Gill, who’s been lauded for his ability as a pass rusher, did the majority of his work at defensive end with some defensive back drills mixed in. Pauline projects him to be a fit at either outside linebacker in a 4-3 scheme or inside in a 3-4. Gill will likely go the UDFA route this spring.
  • MIN Outside Linebacker #28
Wagner LB Cam Gill has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Gill (6'3/240) was one of the best linebackers at the FCS level this season, as he eared STATS FCS All-America honors after tallying 60 total tackles (20.0 for loss), 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and eight quarterback hurries. Gill is a handful as a pass-rusher, and the Shrine Bowl will give him the opportunity to showcase that talent against high-end talent. He projects to be an undrafted free agent, but at the very least the week at the Shrine Bowl will get him an extended period of time in front of NFL scouts and decision-makers.
