  • FA Guard #71
    Dolphins waived OG Blaise Andries.
The Dolphins also cut linebacker Calvin Munson. Miami signed Andries as a UDFA following the 2022 NFL Draft. Andries was a four-year starter at Minnesota and saw action at every position on the line except for center. He should be able to find a spot on a practice squad once the final rosters are settled.

  • Linebacker #50
Dolphins tendered LB Calvin Munson, CB Nik Needham, and CB Jamal Perry.
All were exclusive rights free agents. Needham in particular will collect $850,000 in 2021. Munson primarily played on special teams last year, registering a career-high 220 snaps (49%) with that unit.

  • Linebacker #50
Dolphins removed LB Calvin Munson from the team’s non-football injury list.
Munson played two games for Miami last season after starting his career in 2017 with the Giants. The team didn’t disclose Munson’s injury.

  • Linebacker #50
Giants signed San Diego State LB Calvin Munson.
Munson (6’1/241) made 28 career starts for the Aztecs, twice earning first-team All-Mountain West from the conference’s coaches and piling up seven interceptions, an impressive stat for a linebacker. PFF College gave Munson poor run-defense and pass-coverage grades, however, and charged him with a whopping 17 missed tackles last year. In the pros, Munson is headed for special teams.
