    Jets signed TE Bronson Kaufusi.
Kaufusi last played in a regular season game in 2019, when he suited up for the Jets as a linebacker. A former third-round pick by the Ravens in 2017, Kaufusi has appeared in just nine games during his NFL career. He has since converted to a tight end, a position he last played in high school, as he’ll now try to earn a roster spot with the Jets this offseason.

Ravens third-round DE Bronson Kaufusi suffered a broken ankle on Thursday.
Kaufusi was the 70th overall pick back in April. A behemoth 6'6/285, Kaufusi was expected to compete for the starting job and provide a pass rush up front next to DE Timmy Jernigan and NT Brandon Williams. He’s looking at a 3-4 month recovery and could land on season-ending I.R. The Ravens will now turn to Lawrence Guy, Kapron Lewis-Moore, and Brent Urban at end.

Ravens signed third-round DE Bronson Kaufusi to a four-year contract.
A high-end athlete for his mountainous size (6'7/285), Kaufusi was an extremely productive pass rusher at BYU, and spent time on the basketball team. The ding on his upside is that he’s already 25 (next month). It shouldn’t take the Ravens long to figure out if Kaufusi has a long-term future with the team.
  • NYJ Tight End #45
Ravens placed DE Bronson Kaufusi on injured reserve with a broken ankle, ending his season.
OT Stephane Nembot has also been sent to I.R. The No. 70 overall pick of the draft, Kaufusi had been ticketed for a rotational role along the Ravens’ defensive line. The lost season is extra bad news for Kaufusi, as he’s already 25 years old. He’ll be on the spot to make an impact in 2017 camp.

Ravens DE Bronson Kaufusi is expected to compete for a starting job.
A 2016 third-rounder, Kaufusi lost his rookie year to ankle surgery. He’s in the mix for snaps at the five-technique spot in Baltimore’s 3-4. The Ravens have been impressed with Kaufusi’s conditioning after concerns over his low body strength.

The Baltimore Sun’s Jeff Zrebiec believes Ravens DL Bronson Kaufusi is on the roster bubble.
A third-round pick in 2016, Kaufusi lost his rookie season to a broken ankle and appeared in just three games as a sophomore. On a deep defensive line, Kaufusi faces a steep climb to keep his roster spot.

Ravens selected DE Bronson Kaufusi with the No. 70 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
Kaufusi (6'7/285) started 3 1/2 seasons at BYU, tallying 44 tackles for loss with 26.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. A coach’s son, Kaufusi’s father Steve coached the Cougars’ defensive line and has also spent time in the NFL. Kaufusi has long arms (34 1/2") and is an 82nd-percentile SPARQ athlete, running 4.87 with excellent agility scores. He also spent time on the BYU basketball team. A productive, high-motor prospect with NFL-level movement ability, Kaufusi’s ceiling may be lowered by his age; he’ll be a 25-year-old rookie after a Mormon mission delayed his college career. He should slot in as a five-technique defensive end for the Ravens.
