Brittain Brown had five rushes for 37 yards and a touchdown in the Bears’ Week 9 win against the Bengals.
Brown had the RB2 role in this game with D’Andre Swift sidelined with a groin injury. Kyle Monangai led the way with 22 rushes for 176 yards and ran a route on 27 of the team’s 45 drop backs. Brown could be the next guy up in the Chicago backfield if Monangai were to miss time alongside Swift. He’s worth a roster add in 14-team leagues.

Bears signed RB Brittain Brown, formerly of the Seahawks.
The Bears need extra depth with Roschon Johnson sidelined by a foot injury. Brown has not played an offensive snap in the NFL. He last contributed on special teams with the Raiders in 2022.

    Raiders signed RB Damien Williams.
Williams beat out ex-Texans RB Rex Burkhead after both backs visited the team last week. The Raiders adding Williams suggests they don’t expect unsigned franchise RB Josh Jacobs to report anytime soon. Williams was limited to one game before getting released from Atlanta last year and is a longshot for the Week 1 roster.

Raiders declared RB Brittain Brown, S Isaiah Pola-Mao, LB Darien Butler, DT Neil Farrell, DT Matthew Butler, and DE Tashawn Bower inactive for Week 1 against the Chargers.
No surprises here, as the Raiders didn’t list anyone on their injury report.

Raiders selected UCLA RB Brittain Brown with the No. 250 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
24 years old, Brown (6'1"/205) is an off-the-menu prospect who must have caught the attention of Raiders brass when they were in Pasadena to scout other players. Despite his longevity, Browns never came close to 1,000 yards rushing in any of his five college seasons, three of which came at Duke. He caught just 41 career passes, so he does not appear to be an asset there, either. The practice squad awaits.

UCLA redshirt senior RB Brittain Brown was not practicing on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s game against USC.
Mike Regalado of 247Sports.com reported that Brown (6'1/205) was not practicing on Wednesday and that he was seen sporting a, “black numbered t-shirt.” While head coach Chip Kelly has not shared what the black t-shirts mean in regards to a player’s status, Regalado shared that patterns have shown throughout the season that players wearing black t-shirts tend to be those with long-term injuries. Brown missing time would be significant for UCLA, as the redshirt senior has rushed for 616 yards and seven touchdowns on the season, which is second on the team behind running back Zach Charbonnet. This injury will be one to monitor, although Chip Kelly may not give us as much as we’d like to know ahead of Saturday’s game.

UCLA redshirt senior RB Brittain Brown rushed 13 times for 45 yards and two touchdowns in UCLA’s 34-31 loss to Oregon.
Brown (6'1/205) and fellow RB Zach Charbonnet were both bottled up to the tune of 28 carries for 80 yards (2.8 yards per carry), but Brittain managed to punch it in twice from close range. He scored UCLA’s first touchdown on a 1-yard carry, and then scored their last touchdown, also from the 1-yard line as he just managed to squeeze in between multiple bodies and in. The run game will need to help much more between the twenties if the Bruins want to be successful. They draw Utah next week.

UCLA redshirt senior RB Brittain Brown rushed 12 times for 146 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 34-16 win at Arizona.
Brown (6'1/205) and Zach Charbonnet each hit the century mark, and the Bruins gobbled up 329 rushing yards with three scores and 7.0 yards per attempt in the conference road victory. Brown has back-to-back games with visits to the end zone, and this game was his first 100-yard performance since a 219-yard explosion in the regular season finale against Stanford on Dec. 19, 2020. It wasn’t all great, as he coughed up a fumble. UCLA is back at it next Saturday at Washington.

UCLA redshirt senior RB Brittain Brown ran for 219 yards on 29 carries in a 48-47 loss in double overtime to Stanford on Saturday.
A transfer from Duke, this was easily Brown’s (6'1/205) best game as a member of the Bruins. While he didn’t score, the former Blue Devil kept the chains moving and helped Chase Griffin and UCLA get in position to score. UCLA is not headed to a bowl game, so this was Brown’s final game as a collegiate player. He should get a look as either a late-round pick or an UDFA -- with that being determined by how he tests this spring.
