Favre still can’t bend the top half of the thumb because of the damage he did last season. Favre says he’s used to it and won’t effect his performance. He generally played great with it in worse shape, so it’s not a major concern.

“This one, I can deal with,” Favre said. It’s the thumb of his non-throwing hand.
