    Titans signed DB Breon Borders.
Borders was actually waived by Tennessee (while still on the team’s injured reserve list) no less than a week ago. He made five starts for the Titans last year, totaling 27 tackles, an interception, six passes defensed and a single tackle for a loss. He’ll compete as depth this upcoming season.

    Titans waived CB Breon Borders.
The 25-year-old former undrafted free agent blundered into heavy snaps for the Titans’ injury-staggered secondary last season before landing on injured reserve himself. Borders had a hip issue. It’s a bit surprising the Titans would cut loose someone who played heavy snaps at this stage of the offseason, but if you are not a part of the team’s future, you are not a part of the team’s future. Borders turns 26 in July.

Titans placed CB Breon Borders on injured reserve with a hip injury.
You probably have not heard of Borders, but he has been playing heavy snaps in recent weeks, including 67 in Week 13. The Titans’ injured and undermanned defense will be a major wild card down the stretch in the AFC South.

  • FA Guard #65
    Steelers signed OT Anthony Coyle.
The Steelers also added DB Breon Borders, C John Keenoy and DB Arrion Springs in addition to Coyle. The latter three players were each apart of the XFL in 2020. Of course, none of them are especially likely to make the final roster after August cuts. None of Coyle, Keenoy nor Springs have played a regular season NFL snap to this point.

    Steelers signed DB Breon Borders.
Borders has played 13 NFL games with the Bills, Jaguars and Redskins since 2017, racking up seven tackles along the way. He’ll likely be fighting for a roster spot come August.
