Nebraska senior OT Brenden Jaimes accepted an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Jaimes (6'6/300) was a fixture on the Nebraska offensive line, holding team records for starts by a true freshman (9) and consecutive starts by an offensive lineman (40). In addition to being named the Nebraska offensive MVP in 2019, the Austin, Texas native was awarded Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten status from 2018-2020. The versatile OL started at both right tackle and left tackle for the Cornhuskers. He is being projected as a fourth-sixth round prospect for NFL Draft purposes and could settle in as a backup swing tackle if things break right.

Nebraska junior T Brenden Jaimes (undisclosed) practiced on Wednesday.
Jaimes (6'6/300) went down injured in Saturday’s win over NIU and was subsequently replaced by Broc Bando at left tackle. While it’s not immediately clear whether Jaimes will be available for Saturday’s game against Illinois, that he was able to practice on Wednesday is a positive sign as kickoff nears.

Nebraska junior T Brenden Jaimes (undisclosed) suffered an undisclosed injury in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 44-8 win against Northern Illinois.
The starting left tackle Jaimes (6'6/300) was replaced by Broc Bando, a native of Lincoln, Neb. The team is already a little thin at tackle with fifth-year senior T Christian Gaylord (knee) done for the season with a torn ACL. Bando has just true freshman Bryce Benhart backing him up, so hopefully Jaimes can return sooner rather than later for Big Red.
