Ravens signed DT Bravvion Roy, formerly of the Panthers.
Roy has started 15 of the 45 games he’s appeared in for his career and can provide added depth to the Ravens’ defensive line in a pinch. The former sixth-round pick has totaled 76 tackles and one sack over three seasons and could find his way back onto a 53-man roster at some point this season.

    Panthers released DT Bravvion Roy.
Roy appeared in 45 games for the Panthers over the last three seasons, which included 15 starts. A former sixth-round draft pick, Roy has served primarily as a run-stopper but has been a replacement-level player at best. It’s possible he latches on with another team in training camp and battles for a spot on the 53-man depth chart.

Panthers placed DL Bravvion Roy (hamstring) on injured reserve.
He’ll miss the next four weeks. Roy’s been a run-downs interior plugger for the Panthers for each of the last three years, but hasn’t posted a PFF run defense grade over 43.9 in a single season yet. The Panthers will use more Marquan McCall in Roy’s absence.

Panthers selected Baylor DT Bravvion Roy with the No. 184 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
It was inevitable that Matt Rhule would dig into his Baylor ties, and maybe the only surprise is it took until the sixth round. The selection is DT Bravvion Roy, a fire hydrant defensive tackle at 6-feet-1 and 332 pounds. Roy wasn’t invited to the Combine, but he has a chance of sticking on the Panthers roster due to their complete lack of depth along the interior of the defense line, even after using the No. 7 overall pick on Derrick Brown. Roy offers some surprising disruptive qualities for a player of his build.
