Raiders re-signed RT Brandon Parker to a one-year, $1.5 million deal.
Parker can earn as much as $4 million in 2023 with incentives. The veteran right tackle missed all of 2022 with a tricep injury that he suffered in training camp, but started 13 games for them in 2021. Little more than a serviceable starter, Parker has allowed 120 pressures and 22 sacks in his four seasons. His 53 pressures allowed in 2021 ranked fifth most amongst all tackles.

  • FA Tight End #84
    Raiders re-signed TE Jesper Horsted.
The Raiders also re-signed offensive tackle Brandon Parker. Horsted caught three passes in 2022 while playing a reserve role at tight end. He did, however, make a splash on special teams. Horsted pitched in for 190 special teams snaps and four tackles.

  • ATL Tackle #75
    Raiders re-signed RT Brandon Parker.
Parker took over as the team’s starting right tackle after Alex Leatherwood was moved to guard following a few dreadful starts at tackle. Parker ultimately started 13 regular season games. He allowed eight sacks and 53 pressures, both of which were among the highest marks in the league. The Raiders will likely add a potential starter at right tackle via the draft while keeping Parker in the wings as an experienced backup.

  • ATL Tackle #75
Raiders declared T Brandon Parker, WR Rico Gafford, S Dallin Leavitt, G John Simpson and DT Daniel Ross inactive for Week 1 against the Panthers.
The Raiders enter Week 1 extremely healthy outside of losing Tyrell Williams during the preseason. Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards will make their rookie debuts against a predictably poor Panthers secondary. Look for Jon Gruden to involve his new playmakers early.

  • CIN Tackle #77
Raiders RT Trent Brown (questionable, pectoral) will be a game-time decision for Week 15 against the Jaguars.
Brown gave himself a chance to play by returning to a limited practice on Friday. A torn pectoral muscle kept him out against the Titans in Week 14. His absence was clearly felt as 2018 third-rounder Brandon Parker looked overmatched filling in at right tackle.
  • ATL Tackle #75
Raiders traded up with the Ravens to select North Carolina A&T T Brandon Parker with the No. 65 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
The Ravens received pick Nos. 75 (third), 152 (fifth), and 212 (sixth). Parker (6’8/305) earned 2015, 2016, and 2017 MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year as a first-team FCS All-American, dominating his D-IAA competition before excelling at January’s Senior Bowl. Parker has a massive 85 ¼-inch wingspan with 35-inch arms and tested as a respectable 42nd-percentile athlete before the draft. NFL.com O-Line guru Lance Zierlein says Parker needs a lot of technical work, but he checks boxes as a small-school dominator with NFL-caliber length and athleticism. The Raiders doubled up at offensive tackle after selecting Kolton Miller in round one.
  • ATL Tackle #75
Raiders signed third-round OT Brandon Parker to a four-year contract.
Third-rounder Arden Key is Oakland’s lone remaining unsigned draft pick. The Raiders traded up for Parker at No. 65 overall and intend to mold him into their right tackle of the future under new OL coach Tom Cable. They hope No. 15 overall pick Kolton Miller can lock down Derek Carr’s bind side long term.
