Cardinals acquired T Brandon Gorin from New England for a conditional draft pick.
New England likes their younger tackles, so Gorin was expendable. He started for most of the 2004 season, including the Super Bowl, and reached the pinnacle of his fame as one of the Visa commercial metaphors. He’s an upgrade in Arizona and probably an immediate starter on the right side.
  • The Cardinals reportedly gave up a seventh-round pick for Patriots T Brandon Gorin.
The pick can move up to a sixth-round pick if playing time criteria are reached. Gorin, a seventh-rounder in 2001, was passed by rookie fifth-round rookie tackle Ryan O’Callaghan on the depth chart.
  • Patriots re-signed tackle Brandon Gorin to a three-year contract.
Gorin stepped in and starting at right tackle most of last season when Tom Ashworth went down. The Patriots should still look to pick up a spare tackle.
  • Scout.com’s Adam Caplan reports the Rams will sign T Brandon Gorin.
Gorin, a former starter with the Patriots, was released by the Cardinals in the preseason. He worked out with the Rams on Tuesday as they attempt to find healthy bodies along the offensive line, following the season-ending injury suffered by Orlando Pace.
  • Rams RT Adam Goldberg will miss four weeks with a torn left MCL.
Goldberg won’t need surgery. St. Louis is now down to its fourth right tackle, most likely former Cardinal and one-time Patriots starter Brandon Gorin.
  • Cardinals waived T Brandon Gorin, LB David Holloway, and S Brandon Keeler.
Once a starter for the Patriots, Gorin never caught new Cardinals line coach Russ Grimm’s attention. Holloway and Keeler were undrafted rookies.
  • Broncos signed OT Brandon Gorin.
Gorin missed all of last season after suffering a torn rotator cuff during preseason action. He will compete for a backup job this summer.
  • Rams T Brandon Gorin suffered a partially torn rotator cuff during Saturday’s game. He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
Gorin was slated to be St. Louis’ fourth tackle behind Orlando Pace, Alex Barron, and rookie third-rounder John Greco.
  • Rams placed OLs Mark Setterstrom (fractured patella) and Brandon Gorin (torn labrum) on injured reserve, ending their seasons.
Here we go again. Both need surgery. Setterstrom and Gorin were slated to be reserves, but the former was St. Louis’ top backup interior lineman and Gorin was supposed to make the team. The Rams will be in trouble again this year if they lose any of their starting five OLs. They’re treading on thin ice.
  • Rams re-signed OT Brandon Gorin to a one-year contract.
Due to injuries, Gorin was signed off the street last September and made eight starts at right tackle. The Rams hope that won’t happen again.
