Rams placed T Bobby Evans and S Nick Scott on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Evans has only played one snap in 2020 and Scott has played 120 snaps, behind Taylor Rapp and Jordan Fuller. It’s not clear whether they tested positive for the virus or were close contacts.

  • MIN Tackle #71
Rams signed third-round OL Bobby Evans to a four-year contract.
They also signed third-round CB David Long, fourth-round DT Greg Gaines and fifth-round OL David Edwards. The Rams traded up for Evans — a three-year starter that protected Kyler Murray’s blindside in 2018. Evans is expected to be cross-trained at both tackle and guard as a rookie.
  • MIN Tackle #71
Rams traded up with the Patriots to select Oklahoma T Bobby Evans with the No. 97 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Rams traded pick Nos. 101 and 133 for pick Nos. 97 and 162. Evans (6’4/312) turned pro as a redshirt junior after making 40 starts for the Sooners, manning right tackle as a freshman and sophomore before earning second-team All-Big 12 as Kyle Murray’s blind-side protector in 2018. A limited athlete who won with length (34 ¾" arms) and power on tape, Evans is likely to move back to right tackle or even guard in the pros. If Evans finds a consistent position fit, he offers quality-starter upside based on dominant flashes from his college film. This is likely a depth add for the Rams offensive line that is going through some changes.
