Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson led the Packers WR corps in first-team snap counts during Saturday’s Family Night.
The tallies come from Acme Packing Co. Team Community Producer, Justis Mosqueda, whose 2023 Family Night and preseason snap counts helped Mosqueda effectively project last year’s regular season starting lineup. Doubs (21 snaps) and Watson (19 snaps) debuted as the two-wide receiver-set winners with second-year WR Jayden Reed logging 16 snaps, WR Dontayvion Wicks six, Bo Melton five and Grant DuBose two. Doubs will be a fantasy-draft-day steal if the trend holds.

Bo Melton caught 1-of-1 targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Divisional Round loss to the Bo.
Melton had one of the easiest receptions you’ll see in 2024. The rookie receiver broke free wide open down the right sideline and needed an impressive toe drag to make it all happen, but his score managed to give the Packers a much-needed lead earlier in the third quarter. Melton came on late in the season, catching 16 passes for 218 yards and one touchdown while playing primarily on the practice squad. He’s officially made his case for more playing time in 2024 but will need to get through a challenging wide receiver room to make that happen.

Bo Melton caught 5-of-7 targets for 62 yards in the Packers’ Week 18 win over the Bears, adding two carries for 14 additional yards.
Melton saw seven touches on the day, second-most amongst Packers skill players, trailing only Aaron Jones. He nearly punctuated his day with a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but bobbled the ball and could not catch it in bounds. Melton was just signed to the active roster for the Packers and will continue to have a role in the young receiving corps heading into Wild Card weekend.

Packers signed WR Bo Melton to the active roster.
Melton caught 6-of-9 targets for 105 yards and one touchdown in the Packers’ Week 17 win over the Vikings. Over the last three weeks, he’s amassed 11 receptions for 156 yards and one touchdown, playing in an expanded role while Christian Watson nurses a hamstring injury. Melton won’t see many opportunities when Watson returns, but is an interesting dynasty stash now that he’s been elevated to the 53-man roster.

Bo Melton caught 6-of-9 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 17 win over the Vikings.
Melton, a practice squad call-up, was thrust into an increased role after rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed departed just after the half with an aggravation of his chest injury. He made the opportunity count, catching a touchdown at the end of the third quarter from quarterback Jordan Love before eclipsing 100 yards with a 37-yard reception to ice the game from backup quarterback Sean Clifford.

    Packers signed WR Bo Melton.
Melton, a seventh-rounder in last year’s draft, was hanging out on the Seattle practice squad. He’s not been active for a game this year. This could be a sign that the Packers are down on the chances of Christian Watson (hip) being cleared this week. The Packers sent Dean Lowry to injured reserve to make room for Melton.

    Seahawks waived WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside.
Other notable cuts from the Seahawks include quarterback Jacob Eason and wide receiver Bo Melton. Arcega-Whiteside converted to tight end while with the Eagles in an attempt to carve out a role in Philly. When that failed, the Eagles traded him to the Seahawks. Seattle announced him as a receiver when the trade became official. The move was always a long-shot, but Arcega-Whiteside had no future with the Eagles. His second-round draft capital could earn him a shot on someone else’s roster. If not, Arcega-Whiteside will land on a practice squad to start the year.

Seahawks selected Rutgers WR Bo Melton with the No. 229 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
A five-year player at Rutgers, Melton (5'11/189) came on strong his final two seasons, amassing 102 catches for 1,256 yards, 120 yards on 15 carries, and 12 total touchdowns in 19 games for an offense that struggled to throw the ball. He does not have ideal size, but he tested like an above-average athlete at the Combine, running a 4.34 40 and posting a 38-inch vertical and 10-foot-1 broad jump before logging an impressive 4.1 short shuttle at his Pro Day. Those numbers are not surprising given what he looked like with the ball in his hands during his college career. He could end up a special teams and gadget player at the next level, but Melton comes with some interesting playmaking upside.

According to Sam Monson, Rutgers WR Bo Melton is a big sleeper in this upcoming draft.
No one is talking about Melton (5'11/195) in this draft, but if watch some of his highlights, it’s as smooth as hot butter. He has the amazing route running abilities and knows how to set up a defensive back to create separation, he comes along with stellar after-the-catch skills with double-digit missed tackles the last two seasons. With a 4.36 40 at the combine, the deep threat ability is there and he can be a great late-Day 2 option as a complement to a team’s WR1.

Rutgers senior WR Bo Melton caught five passes for 50 yards and no touchdowns in Saturday’s 38-3 win over Indiana.
Melton (5'11/195) didn’t score in this one, but was Rutgers’ leading receiver on the day. His longest reception on the afternoon came on a 27-yard pass from quarterback Noah Vedral. Melton has led Rutgers in receiving all season, and now has a line of 48/523/3 on the season. He and the Scarlett Knights travel to Penn State to take on the Nittany Lions next weekend.
