  • Tight End #44
Falcons placed LS Beau Brinkley on injured reserve.
Brinkley was just signed in early April to replace Josh Harris. The injury was not disclosed, but being placed on injured reserve at this point in the NFL calendar suggests it is a serious issue. Liam McCullough is next in line to snap the snaps longer than traditional snaps.

  • Tight End #44
Falcons signed LS Beau Brinkley, formerly of the Cardinals.
After losing LS Josh Harris to the Chargers on a big-money deal, as far as long snappers are concerned, the Falcons are replacing him with 32-year-old Brinkley. He spent nine seasons with the Titans before handling the long snaps for the Cardinals in three games last year.

  • BUF Defensive Lineman #92
Titans placed DE DaQuan Jones, TE Tommy Hudson, and LS Beau Brinkley on the COVID-19 list.
These three players and five other Titans staff members have tested positive. The team will stay away from facilities until at least Saturday, but they need to pass COVID-19 testing before attempting to play on Sunday. The NFL is prepared to delay the Titans vs. Steelers game to Monday if another day is needed. Because the Vikings played the Titans last Sunday, they too will be away from facilities until testing clears them. It’s the first major scare in the NFL.

  • Tight End #44
    Titans re-signed LS Beau Brinkley.
Brinkley has been snapping balls further than normal for nearly a decade and has never missed a game for the Titans.
  • TEN Defensive Back #36
Titans waived CB Gary Wilburn and LS Jake Ingram.
Wilburn went undrafted despite impressing with a 4.46 forty, a 39-inch vertical jump, and 10'6" on the broad jump at UConn’s Pro Day. Ingram has been released by five teams since entering the league in 2009. Beau Brinkley appears to be locked in as the long-snapper.
  • Tight End #44
Titans re-signed LS Beau Brinkley to a five-year, $5.75 million contract.
While the rest of the NFL’s bottom feeders attempt to improve their roster via free agency, the Titans have focused on keeping their own ... punters and long snappers ... and pursuing Mark Sanchez. After paying top dollar to retain P Brett Kern, Tennessee has locked up Brinkley through his age-29 season.
