Free agent OT Aviante Collins visited the Steelers.
27-year-old Collins spent this season on the Vikings’ practice squad. He hasn’t appeared in a game since 2019. Collins would add depth on a reserve/future contract with multiple tackles set to become free agents for the Steelers.

Vikings placed OT Aviante Collins on injured reserve with an elbow injury, ending his season.
Collins suffered a right elbow injury in practice last Thursday. He had been slated for swing tackle duties. The Vikings must now rely on second-round rookie Brian O’Neill behind LT Riley Reiff and RT Rashod Hill. Offensive line depth is going to be a problem for the Super Bowl-contending Vikes.
  • FA Tackle #74
Vikings signed TCU OT Aviante Collins.
Collins (6’4/295) made 37 starts in five years with the Horned Frogs, missing most of his fifth-year junior season with a leg injury before returning to start all 13 games as a senior. Collins dabbled at left tackle early in his career but settled in at right tackle in 2016. He got a significant bump at the Combine, blazing a freakish 4.81 forty with 34 reps on the bench. Collins’ long history of injuries and inconsistency make him a project whose versatility and movement skills will work in his favor.
