Lions declared CB Steven Gilmore, WR Antoine Green, LB Charles Harris, CB Chase Lucas, LB Trevor Nowaske, LB Julian Okwara, and K Riley Patterson inactive for Week 15 against the Broncos.
The Lions have dropped two of their last three after starting the season 10-2 but appear to be close to full health for their Week 15 game against the Broncos. Michael Badgley will kick for the Lions.

Lions selected North Carolina WR Antoine Green with the No. 219 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Green’s (6’2/199) final season at Chapel Hill was shortened by an injury that sidelined him early on, but he returned to finish with a 43-798-7 line, setting career-high marks across the board. A true deep threat, Green averaged an impressive 19 YPR during his time at North Carolina, with 11 of his 15 receiving touchdowns coming on passes of 20-plus yards downfield. While his 4.47 speed helped him beat defenders deep in college, Green will need to add more tricks to his bag if he hopes to stick at the NFL level. In Detroit, Green could see usage as a deep ball specialist during Jameson Williams’ six-game suspension.

North Carolina senior WR Antoine Green caught three passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-23 loss to Pitt on Thursday night.
Green (6'2/205) didn’t get a lot of touches against the Panthers, but he made them count. He started off the scoring with a 76-yard touchdown by schooling the corner with a slant-and-go, getting the corner to trip over his own feet, and creating 20+ yards of separation. His second touchdown was a nice slant route that he caught in traffic and held on with one arm. It was reviewed but upheld and brought the Tar Heels within 10. Green did everything he could to help the Tar Heels, but the Panthers and the weather were just not enough. They take on Wofford next Saturday.

North Carolina senior WR Antoine Green snared six passes for 83 yards and a score in Saturday’s 58-55 victory over Wake Forest.
Wake Forest did a surprisingly good job at holding UNC’s passing game in check, notably holding Josh Downs to four catches for 35 yards. But it couldn’t erase Green. At long last, the promising Green is breaking out. He entered last weekend with only 11 catches on the season, but has matched that output in subsequent games against Notre Dame and Wake Forest. It appears he’ll be a larger part of the passing equation going forward. UNC’s fans stormed the field upon ending Wake Forest’s undefeated season. The 5-4 Tar Heels are at Pitt next week.

North Carolina junior WR Antoine Green caught three passes for 117 yards with a touchdown in a 59-17 laugher over Georgia State.
Greene did almost all of his damage on one catch; a 57-yard touchdown from the right arm of Sam Howell in the first. He made a couple other catches, but Green (6'2/205) isn’t considered one of the go-to targets for the Tar Heels. He’ll have a chance to build on this strong game, however, next Saturday against the Hoos of Virginia.

  • DET Wide Receiver #18
North Carolina sophomore WR Antoine Green (lower body) will not play on Friday against Wake Forest.
Green caught two passes for 64 yards in the season-opening win against South Carolina, but he won’t be able to add to that total this week. It’s worth nothing that he missed significant time last year with a leg injury; an issue that caused him to stop playing after October 23. Khafre Brown and Beau Corrales should see additional targets in his place.
  • DET Wide Receiver #18
North Carolina freshman WR Antoine Green was carted to the locker room during Saturday’s game against Syracuse.
The injury wasn’t on a play he was involved in as his teammate caught a pass and rolled up on him. His injury looks to be very severe as he was carted off the field. Green may end is freshman season with one catch for 12 yards.
  • DET Wide Receiver #18
North Carolina freshman WR Antoine Green (leg) wrote to social media that he will not play again this season.
Green (6'3/195) sustained a scary leg injury while blocking downfield for Jordan Brown in the third quarter of Saturday’s double-overtime loss to Syracuse. Brown and Syracuse’s Kingsley Johnson got tangled up with the freshman wideout, who was subsequently carted off the field for a potential break in his ankle or leg. He was spotted on campus Monday with his foot in a cast. The four-star freshman finishes his inaugural campaign of collegiate ball having caught four passes for 45 yards.
