    Patriots waived DE/OLB Angelo Craig.
Craig was being tried at outside ‘backer after playing end in college. He’s now been cut by two teams, and the heavy influx of similar conversion ends in this year’s draft will work against him in his bid to catch on again.
  • NE Defensive Lineman
The Cardinals worked out free agent LB Angelo Craig after practice Tuesday.
The Cards are in the market for a linebacker after losing Cody Brown (wrist) for the season. Craig is a former seventh-round pick that was waived by the Patriots in June. Arizona will work out some more linebackers this week.
  • NE Defensive Lineman
Bengals signed seventh-round DE Angelo Craig to a four-year contract.
The former Cincinnati Bearcat is vastly undersized at about 240 pounds after three sittings at McDonalds, but the Bengals hope he’ll help their pass rush. Craig probably would’ve been a better fit at OLB in a 3-4 scheme.
  • HOU Defensive Back
Bengals released CB Deltha O’Neal, LB Jim Maxwell, TE Nate Lawrie, G Nate Livings, T Dane Uperesa, G James Blair, DE Angelo Craig, DLs Anthony Hoke and Dan Howell, and WRs Maurice Purify and Clyde Logan.
O’Neal, 31, was penciled in as Cincy’s primary punt returner but that job may now go to receiver Antonio Chatman. Craig was a seventh-round pick.
  • NE Defensive Lineman
Patriots signed OLB Angelo Craig, DL Titus Adams, P Tom Malone, LB Darrell Robertson, and OL Ryan Wendell to reserve/future contracts.
Craig, a seventh-round pick of the Bengals last year, is in the process of converting to 3-4 outside linebacker from defensive end. Like the other four youngsters here, he’s a long shot to have a career at this level.
