Leal was replaced on the active roster by OLB Ade Ogundeji. Pittsburgh is also elevating RB Jonathan Ward and OLB Eku Leota from the practice squad this week. The Steelers now have 13 players on injured reserve.

Ogundeji (6'4/269) also posted a vertical jump of 36 1/2", a broad jump of 10", a shuttle of 4.65 seconds and a 3-Cone of 7.19 seconds. After starting just one of the 13 games in which he appeared in 2019, has stepped into a leadership role for the Notre Dame defense. A team captain, the senior defensive lineman has started each of the Fighting Irish’s games this season and has accounted for 14 total tackles (3.5 for loss), 3.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery in eight games. Ogundeji has been given a fifth-round grade by Pro Football Network’s Tony Pauline.
