Free agent QB Adam Froman has been named QBs coach at Valdosta State University.
The Louisville product was a hyped undrafted free agent in 2011, but was waived by the Falcons at final cuts after bombing in the preseason. He hasn’t been heard from since. Froman spent the past two seasons as an offensive assistant at LSU. It’s safe to say his future is in coaching, and not playing.

Louisville QB Adam Froman was contacted by the 49ers, Dolphins, and Falcons on the final day of the draft in April.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said there was a specific QB the Niners hoped to sign as an undrafted free agent, but played coy when asked if it was Froman. One of our favorite UFAs, Froman was ranked as high as fourth among QB prospects this year by Matt Waldman of The Rookie Scouting Portfolio. Though Froman has just average NFL arm strength and durability concerns, he boasts a high football IQ and impressive accuracy as well as athleticism to rival Blaine Gabbert and Jake Locker. His is a name to track in deep Dynasty leagues.

    Falcons waived QB Adam Froman.
Froman went 6-of-13 for 45 yards with one interception in two preseason games. The undrafted rookie out of Louisville loses out to John Parker Wilson for the No. 3 quarterback gig behind Matt Ryan and Chris Redman. The Falcons also waived OL Matt Murphy.

Free agent QB Adam Froman worked out for the Dolphins.
Delaware’s Pat Devlin is tentatively penciled in as Miami’s No. 3 QB, but Froman has him beat on talent. Undrafted out of Louisville, Froman 6-of-13 passes for 45 yards in Atlanta this preseason.

Falcons agreed to terms with former Louisville QB Adam Froman.
Froman was on everyone’s list as one of the top undrafted rookies. He’s athletic, mobile and known for a high football IQ. In Atlanta, Froman will compete with John Parker Wilson to be the No. 3 quarterback.
