Giants agreed to terms with OG Aaron Stinnie, formerly of the Buccaneers.
Stinnie joined the Buccaneers on a one-year deal last offseason and wound up starting 11 of the 13 games he appeared in. The six-year vet now has a chance to replace Ben Bredeson, who played along the Giants’ interior last season but recently signed with the Buccaneers. Stinnie has played in 31 career games but only had one career start prior to 2023.

    Buccaneers re-signed G Aaron Stinnie to a one-year, $2.5 million contract.
Stinnie had been in line to take over the starting left guard position for the Buccaneers following the loss of Ali Marpet, but a torn ACL and MCL in August put a halt to his 2022 season. Stinnie should now push 2022 rookie Luke Goedeke for a starting role at the beginning of training camp due to the timing of his injury.

Bucs OG Aaron Stinnie has suffered a torn left ACL and MCL and will miss the 2022 season.
Stinnie had been “very much pushing” for Ali Marpet’s vacated starting spot at left guard. Now the Bucs are back to square one with their revamped interior line, one breaking in RG Shaq Mason and adjusting to life without C Ryan Jensen (knee). It is a major concern for Tom Brady, who has been away from the team for over 10 days to attend to a “personal” matter. It is unclear who he will be building chemistry with upon his return.

Bucs LG Aaron Stinnie (knee) was carted from the field during the team’s preseason game against the Titans.
Stinnie was attended to on the field by trainers before being carted and subsequently ruled out. With Ali Marpet retiring in the offseason, Stinnie was competing for the starting gig at left guard. He has been a backup for the Bucs since 2019. Stinnie’s injury is the latest in a line of bad beats for Tampa Bay’s offensive line. Though it’s hard to imagine anything slowing down Tom Brady, a battered line could be an issue for the statue quarterback.

Bucs LG Aaron Stinnie is working with the first-team offense at the start of camp.
Stinnie is competing with rookie Luke Goedeke for the starting job. Goedeke opened camp working with the backups and appears to be behind in the competition. The Bucs remain loaded, but they took a hit at guard this offseason. Stinnie or Goedeke emerging as a quality option would be a big boost.

Bucs re-signed OG Aaron Stinnie to a one-year contract.
Stinnie has appeared in 14 games for the Bucs as a deep reserve the past three seasons. With LG Ali Marpet retired and C Ryan Jensen and RG Alex Cappa free agents, Stinnie could fall into a competition for a starting job.

  • NYG Guard #64
Bucs re-signed OG Aaron Stinnie to a one-year contract.
Stinnie stepped in as the starter at right guard when Alex Cappa was lost for the playoffs. It was the 27-year-old’s first ever starting action at the pro level. He acquitted himself reasonably well and now returns as more experienced depth.
