Aaron Stecker left Sunday’s Saints game in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.
This will confuse the fantasy masses. Even if he’s healthy, Stecker doesn’t look like an every-down back. Look for New Orleans to re-sign Ki-Jana Carter and give him plenty of carries.

Aaron Stecker will miss only two weeks with a high ankle sprain.
“It’s good news considering,” coach Sean Payton said. Stecker should be back in time for Week 1, when he’ll be the Saints’ No. 3 running back. If Deuce McAllister or Reggie Bush miss any time this season, Stecker will get significant carries.

Saints declared RB Aaron Stecker, S Bryan Scott, CB DeJuan Groce, WR Lance MooreDE Michael Haynes, T Rob Petitti, DT Rodney Leisle, and T Zach Strief inactive for Week 1.
Scott is buried on the depth chart and not healthy. New Orleans will go with only two active tailbacks today.
  • NO Running Back

He’s the man behind Deuce McAllister this season. We’ll consider Stecker day-to-day.
