Aaron Shea and Darnell Sanders are fighting for the third and final tight end spot with the Browns.
It’s possible both could make it if Shea plays on special teams and backs up Terrelle Smith at fullback. Forget about any Cleveland tight ends but Kellen Winslow Jr. for the next decade.
  • CLE Tight End
Aaron Shea left yesterday’s game with a shin injury.
He was one of four Browns starters, plus Jeff Garcia, to get injured during yesterday’s game. The Browns may struggle to field a team for the final three games.
  • CLE Tight End
Browns tight ends Aaron Shea (knee) and Steve Heiden (ankle) are both day-to-day.
Keith Heinrich can fill-in if necessary.
  • CLE Tight End
Chargers declared TE Aaron Shea, CB Cletis Gordon, RB Andrew Pinnock, T Leander Jordan, WR Greg Camarillo, TE Ryan Krause, and DL Derreck Robinson inactive for Monday night’s late game.
Shea has been dealing with an injured back. Gordon, the team’s primary kick returner, is also hurting. Krause was impressive in the preseason.
  • CLE Tight End
Chargers TE Aaron Shea is not expected to be ready for Week 1.
The reserve has been sidelined for over a month with a nagging back injury. Taking into account Brandon Manumaleuna and Ryan Krause’s impressive preseasons, it was surprising Shea was kept on the roster.
  • CLE Tight End
Aaron Shea caught six passes for 45 yards in week seven.
The Browns continue to look to Shea more. He’s become a viable fantasy pickup as a bye-week tight end.
  • CLE Tight End
Aaron Shea left today’s game with a knee and ankle sprain.
    His return is questionable.
  • CLE Tight End
Aaron Shea caught one pass for a seven yard touchdown today.
He’s an option at tight end, but there are likely better options available.
  • CLE Tight End
TE Aaron Shea, questionable with a shoulder injury, didn’t practice all week in Cleveland.
Steve Heiden should start this weekend, with Billy Miller likely being the backup.
  • CLE Tight End
Browns declared TE Aaron Shea, RB Lee Suggs, and CB Gary Baxter inactive for week one.
None of the above were expected to play, but they are all starters. Reuben Droughns will start at running back. Steve Heiden will start at tight end. Leigh Bodden will start at cornerback.
