Bills hired OL coach Aaron Kromer.
Kromer has been coaching offensive lines in the NFL for the better part of the last two decades. He was last with the Rams as their OL coach and run-game coordinator under Sean McVay, but he wasn’t retained following the 2020 season. Kromer spent 2015-2016 in Buffalo and was once a top assistant under Sean Payton in New Orleans. He’s been viewed as one of the better OL coaches in the sport.

Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports ex-Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer is “getting stronger” as a candidate for the Rams’ offensive coordinator job.
New coach Sean McVay wants his OC to have a strong offensive line background to help rebuild one of the league’s worst blocking units. McVay will call the plays. Kromer served as the Bears’ OC from 2013-14 under Marc Trestman.

Rams hired ex-Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer as offensive line coach.
Kromer was said to be in the running for the Rams’ OC gig, but that went to Falcons QBs coach Matt LaFleur. Kromer is one of the better OL coaches in the league and will be tasked with turning around one of the worst. We’ll see if Kromer can make anything out of first-round bust LT Greg Robinson.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer was arrested Sunday morning for battery with intent to cause bodily harm.
He was booked in Panama Beach, Florida at 1:51 a.m. ET and released on bond about an hour later. The incident allegedly followed an altercation with the son of Kromer’s neighbor. The Bills released this statement on Sunday morning: “We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts.” Kromer served as the Bears’ offensive coordinator last season but was fired after publicly criticizing quarterback Jay Cutler.

According to an official press release from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, police were called to the scene early Sunday morning after Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer confronted three boys for their use of beach chairs and threw one of them to the ground.
He allegedly punched one of the boys and threatened to kill his family if he called the police. The report also mentioned that Kromer took a fishing pole and threw it into the water. It’s hard to imagine Kromer keeping his job if any of these allegations are true. Kromer has fallen a long way since 2012 when he served as interim coach for the Saints.

The Bills have placed OL coach Aaron Kromer on “paid administrative leave.”
“We have been in regular discussions with the league office, and have decided to place Aaron on indefinite paid administrative leave in accordance with the league’s Personal Conduct Policy while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league,” the Bills said in a mealy-mouthed statement. A 48-year-old man, Kromer is accused of assaulting a teenager under the age of 18. The argument was related to a beach chair. You may remember Kromer from 2014, where, as the Bears’ offensive coordinator, he was outed as a negative Jay Cutler source in an NFL.com article.

Two witnesses backed up the victim’s statement that Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer hit a boy over the weekend.
The age of the boy has not been released so all we know is he’s under 18. According to the police report, Kromer approached three minors to yell at them about beach chairs. He allegedly pushed one of them to the ground before punching him in the left eye. Per the police, the victim “stated that Aaron told him that if he reported him to the police that he would kill his family.”

Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer’s court date is set for August 12.
Kromer, 48, was arrested this week for assault on a minor. There should be more clarity on his NFL status when the case gets resolved. Buffalo has placed Kromer on indefinite administrative leave.

Bills suspended OL coach Aaron Kromer six games for conduct detrimental to the team.
He’s been suspended without pay. Although charges were ultimately dropped against Kromer for allegedly assaulting a kid over the placement of beach chairs, the Bills determined that Kromer’s involvement in the incident was enough for relatively harsh discipline. Kromer will return on October 19.

WKBW Buffalo’s Joe Buscaglia reports the Bills are likely to fire OL coach Aaron Kromer.
It’s a surprise they haven’t done so already. Kromer was arrested two weekends ago for assault and battery after he allegedly pushed a minor, punching the boy in the face and threatening to “kill his family.” Kromer has had a rough go of it the past calendar year. Last season, he used NFL Network to blast Jay Cutler anonymously in Chicago before being let go and joining Rex Ryan’s staff.
