Rams selected Hawaii LB Aaron Brown with the No. 209 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.
Another player with a quiet pre-draft process, Brown has workout strength with 31 bench press reps while running a 4.78 forty. As a senior he accumulated 103 tackles, 13 for a loss, four and a half sacks, and three interceptions. This earned Brown first-team all-WAC honors. A member of the United States National under-20 rugby team, we expect him to predominately focus on special teams.

Rams signed seventh-round LB Aaron Brown to a four-year contract.
Brown is an undersized, but athletic and productive prospect out of Hawaii who will vie for the Rams’ starting weak-side linebacker role as a rookie. (Yes, they are that thin.) Brown’s primary competition at the outside spots will come from veterans Jo-Lonn Dunbar and Mario Haggan. Haggan is 32 years old.
