Yves Missi recorded a double-double on Thursday with 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), 10 rebounds and one assist against the Rockets.
Missi recorded his seventh double-double of the season in this game, which leads all rookies. Missi wasn’t able to get a block in this game, but he has been able to consistently make an impact in the typical big man stats for most of the season. He has been a top-100 players over the past two weeks but is somehow still available in 62% of Yahoo leagues. He will continue to be their starting center for the rest of the season, which means that he’ll continue to provide double-doubles, blocks and a sky high field goal percentage.

Yves Missi finished Sunday’s 121-116 loss to the Spurs with 18 points (6-of-14 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 14 rebounds, one steal, and two blocked shots in 31 minutes.
Missi remains one of the few bright spots for the struggling Pelicans, finishing Sunday’s loss with his sixth double-double. Rostered in 32% of Yahoo leagues, the rookie center has been a 10th-round player in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks. While that isn’t “great” value, Missi is the highest-ranked rookie among those who have appeared in multiple games during this period.

Yves Missi (right ankle sprain) is available for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Missi was originally listed as questionable, but is now set to start against the Suns Thursday. Daniel Theis (neck) has been ruled out, giving Missi a clear runway to big minutes at the center position. The 20-year-old has been a bright spot for the 4-win Pelicans so far this season.

Yves Missi (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Thursday’s game against Phoenix.
Missi has been one of the few bright spots for the 4-18 Pelicans, so of course, he’s the latest player added to the team’s injury report. If the rookie cannot play against Phoenix, Daniel Theis will move back into the starting lineup. Due to New Orleans’ lack of healthy options in the frontcourt, he would be worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • NOP Power Forward #1
Zion Williamson (left hamstring strain) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Williamson has been out since early November, and it was announced that he’d be sidelined indefinitely. He’ll go another two weeks before the Pelicans evaluate his hamstring and determine the next steps in his recovery process. Trey Murphy and Yves Missi are of greater importance to the Pelicans, with Williamson sidelined, and both should be rostered wherever they are available.

Yves Missi recorded a double-double on Monday with 23 points (11-of-14 FGs), 12 rebounds, one steal and one block against the Hawks.
In a matchup with Clint Capela, Missi wasn’t able to get the best of him on the glass, but he was a far better offensive player in this one. He scored as many points as Capela and Onyeka Okongwu combined as he set a new career-high for scoring. This was his sixth straight game scoring in double figures, and it seems like New Orleans has figured out how to get the most out of him. He should continue to put up double-doubles with blocks and sky-high field goal percentage, just like Capela did for a long time.

Yves Missi finished Sunday’s loss to the Knicks with 11 points (5-of-7 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, and one blocked shot in 20 minutes.
Missi has been one of the few bright spots in New Orleans’s brutal start to the season, which has seen the team drop 17 of its first 21 games. Rostered in 30% of Yahoo leagues, the rookie has been a 12th-round player in 9-cat formats over the last two weeks. That isn’t great value, but it’s good enough to justify him needing to be rostered in more leagues. Especially considering the Pelicans’ lack of options at the center position.

Yves Missi finished Wednesday’s loss to Memphis with 16 points (6-of-13 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three blocked shots in 31 minutes.
Missi’s recent progression has been one of the few bright spots for the Pelicans, who are now a putrid 4-20 on the season. The rookie center established new highs in points and rebounds while matching his season-high with three blocked shots. Given his recent play and the state of the Pelicans’ frontcourt rotation, Missi should be rostered in more than 21% of Yahoo leagues.

Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Brandon Boston Jr., Javonte Green, and Yves Missi will start Wednesday’s game against Toronto.
Murray is back in the lineup for the first time since the season opener when he suffered a broken left hand. His return means Elfrid Payton heads to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a significant hit. Also in the lineup are Boston and Missi, who replace Trey Murphy (out injured) and Daniel Theis. While Boston is a streamer, Missi is a player worth rostering for the remainder of the season.

Yves Missi had 16 points (7-of-11 FGs), 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks against the Pacers on Monday.
Missi came off the bench, but played over starter Daniel Theis as he had 31 minutes compared to Theis’ 17 minutes. His double-double was his third of the season and he’s had at least eight rebounds in six of his last seven games. This was only the second time that Missi has played at least 30 minutes this year. He should be rostered in all formats going forward as he continues to show he’s the preferred big man in New Orleans and should be in the starting lineup.
