Jaylen Brown (knee) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Brown is back after sitting out Monday’s win over the Grizzlies, meaning Xavier Tillman will return to the bench. Tillman only logged eight minutes in that spot start, so fantasy managers will not take a hit with his being moved to the bench.
  • BOS Center #42
Al Horford provided a boost off the bench with 26 points (9-of-18 FGs), nine rebounds, two assists and six three-pointers in a 117-103 win over the Grizzlies on Monday.
With Jaylen Brown sidelined, Joe Mazzulla opted to start Xavier Tillman instead of Horford or Sam Hauser. However, Tillman only played eight minutes. Horford ended up getting the minutes boost and set a new season-high with 26 points in 37 minutes. He also tied his season-high for three-pointers. This was an excellent performance for the 38-year-old, which is encouraging with the postseason approaching. Boston is going to need Horford to provide depth if they want to repeat as champions, and this type of performance is certainly what they’re looking for in the playoffs.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, Jayson Tatum, Xavier Tillman and Kristaps Porzingis against the Grizzlies on Monday.
Tillman is listed as the starter in place of Jaylen Brown, who is sidelined with a knee injury. It is a surprise that Tillman gets the nod instead of Al Horford or Sam Hauser, but this doesn’t mean Tillman will play enough to warrant a streaming spot; he played just six minutes in his only other start this season.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) is available to play against the Spurs on Saturday.
Tillman hasn’t made an appearance since early March regardless of his health. With Al Horford out, Tillman could see a few minutes at backup center, but it won’t be enough time for him to provide any real value for fantasy managers.
  • BOS Point Guard #11
Payton Pritchard (hip) and Xavier Tillman (knee) are questionable for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Tillman has only appeared in three games since the beginning of February, last playing on March 6. His availability does not impact fantasy basketball. However, Pritchard leads all bench scorers this season and has been good enough to merit being rostered in standard leagues. If he cannot play against the Spurs, more minutes would become available to Sam Hauser off the bench. Also, Jayson Tatum (ankle) will absorb some of those minutes as he is off the injury report.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) is out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Suns.
Tillman hasn’t appeared in a game since March 6 due to a combination of coach’s decisions and the knee injury, so his absence won’t have any major implications in the world of fantasy hoops.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) is out for Monday’s game against the Kings.
Tillman remains sidelined with a left knee joint sprain. However, his absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not guaranteed rotation minutes when healthy.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Tillman’s continued absence does not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not guaranteed rotation minutes.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Friday.
Tillman will be sidelined, with neither Kristaps Porzingis nor Al Horford on the injury report, his place in the rotation wasn’t guaranteed. Luke Kornet will be locked in as the third center option, which isn’t a prosperous role in fantasy basketball.
  • BOS Power Forward #26
Xavier Tillman (knee) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.
Tillman is back after missing four games with an inflamed left knee. With Al Horford out, there may be a few minutes available on the back end of the Celtics’ rotation. That said, fantasy managers should not anticipate Tillman playing enough to achieve fantasy relevance.
