Wesley Matthews (right hamstring tightness) is not on the initial injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
Matthews was not available for five of Atlanta’s last seven games of the regular season, but the impact of his absence was minimal. However, with Jalen Johnson (ankle) sidelined, Matthews may be able to play additional rotation minutes. That still will not be enough to make him relevant in DFS tournaments.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #32
Wesley Matthews (right hamstring tightness) and Seth Lundy (left medial ankle impingement) are out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Neither Matthews nor Lundy has provided much fantasy value when healthy, so their absences will not impact that regard. The former has been more impactful to the Hawks rotation, albeit not by much.
  • ATL Small Forward #12
De’Andre Hunter (rest) is available for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves, while Wesley Matthews (right hamstring tightness) is out.
Hunter is available after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets, which will drop Vit Krejci to the bench. Krejci’s value will take a hit, but he should remain in the rotation. As for Matthews, his absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #32
Wesley Matthews (right hamstring) has been ruled out for the Hawks’ Wednesday game against the Hornets.
Matthews has missed two games in April and hasn’t eclipsed 10 minutes in a contest this month. His absence shouldn’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #32
Wesley Matthews (illness) has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Matthews has been cleared to play after initially being listed as questionable. With Jalen Johnson (ankle) sidelined, the veteran wing will likely slide into the starting lineup. Matthews is not a must-stream player, but he’s worthy of consideration in deep leagues due to how shorthanded the Hawks are on the wings.

Wesley Matthews (illness) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Matthews’ status for Thursday’s game will be critical, as Jalen Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out. If cleared to play, the veteran winger should slide into the starting lineup. While Matthews would not be a must-stream player, the path to fantasy relevance exists.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #13
Bogdan Bogdanovic (illness) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Monday’s game against the Lakers.
Bogdanovic returned to action on Sunday after a one-game absence, starting and playing 30 minutes in a win over the Clippers. His absence from the initial injury report for Monday means he will be available, likely taking on a similar workload. Wesley Matthews, who played 14 minutes off the bench after starting for Bogdanovic on Friday, is not worth rostering in any fantasy leagues.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #13
Jalen Johnson (right ankle sprain) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (illness) are not on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Johnson played in their last game after missing the previous three, and he isn’t even on the injury report for Sunday, which is a good sign. Bogdanovic missed their last game due to an illness, but he is expected to be back on Sunday, which will push Wesley Matthews back to the bench.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #32
Dejounte Murray, Wesley Matthews, Vit Krejci, Jalen Johnson, and Clint Capela will start Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Johnson is back after missing three games with a sprained ankle, but the Hawks will be without Bogdan Bogdanovic (illness). As a result, Matthews remains in the starting lineup for another game. Murray, Krejci, and Capela have been fixtures in the lineup, with Krejci starting for Saddiq Bey (knee).
  • ATL Power Forward #1
Jalen Johnson (right ankle sprain) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Friday.
Johnson has missed their last three games with this ankle injury, but there is a chance that he returns on Friday. Wesley Matthews started in their last game, which was the first without Saddiq Bey, who will be sidelined for the rest of the season. If Johnson returns, Matthews will be pushed to the bench.
