Bradley Beal (hamstring) and Royce O’Neale (illness) are out against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Beal and O’Neale have been downgraded from questionable to out, joining Kevin Durant on the sidelines. Their absences free up playing time for Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones and Bol Bol. Whoever receives the starting nod for Durant will be worth streaming, especially if it’s Allen who moved into the lineup.
  • PHX Point Guard #12
Collin Gillespie tallied three points (1-of-4 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one three-pointer in 16 minutes in Monday’s win over the Raptors.
Gillespie was Suns coach Mike Budenholzer’s choice to replace the injured Bradley Beal (hamstring) in the starting lineup on Monday. Unfortunately, he failed to provide much value in his 16 minutes on the court. Tyus Jones was solid off the bench, finishing with 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers in 27 minutes. While he hasn’t been as productive as many fantasy managers hoped during the preseason, Jones (61 percent rostered) is the only Suns guard worth adding with Beal sidelined.
  • PHX Point Guard #12
Collin Gillespie, Devin Booker, Ryan Dunn, Kevin Durant and Nick Richards will start Monday’s game against the Raptors.
The Suns have decided to go with Gillespie to fill the void left by Bradley Beal, who will miss at least one week with a hamstring injury. While the move into the starting lineup gives Gillespie an opportunity to achieve fantasy relevance, Tyus Jones is the safer streaming play despite remaining on the bench.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in one week.
This timeline has Beal set to be re-evaluated on March 24, which means that he will miss all three of the Suns’ games this week and will likely miss their game against the Bucks on the re-evaluation date. Tyus Jones will likely replace Beal in the starting lineup, which gives him a boost in value for the rest of the week.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (hamstring) and Grayson Allen (foot) are out for Monday’s game against the Raptors.
Unsurprisingly, Beal is out after experiencing tightness in his left hamstring during Sunday’s loss to the Lakers. While Collin Gillespie started the third quarter in Beal’s absence, he has not done enough to merit being streamed. Tyus Jones will also have added importance and should be ahead of Gillespie in the pecking order. As for Allen, Monday’s game will be the fourth he has missed with a strained foot. Royce O’Neale and Ryan Dunn will continue to play additional minutes.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (hamstring) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
Beal is again injured, as tightness in his left hamstring has ended his Sunday afternoon. Collin Gillespie started the third quarter but is not a player fantasy managers should look to add if Beal misses time. Tyus Jones should also have an expanded role within the Suns rotation.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #8
Grayson Allen (foot) is out for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
Allen has missed the Suns’ last two games with a foot injury, and Sunday will push that streak to three. Tyus Jones and Ryan Dunn will play additional minutes, with the latter replacing Royce O’Neale in the starting lineup for Friday’s win over the Kings. Neither Jones nor Dunn has been the most reliable fantasy option this season, but the former offers a higher floor.
  • PHX Point Guard #21
Tyus Jones shot 6-of-7 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Friday’s win over the Kings, amassing 20 points, two rebounds, four assists and six three-pointers in 24 minutes.
While he hasn’t been much of an asset in fantasy leagues since the All-Star break, Jones is capable of the occasional big night. Friday was one of those occasions, as he shot 6-of-6 from beyond the arc. The six triples matched Jones’ season-high, and this was his first 20-point effort since New Year’s Eve. Tyus’ hot shooting helped supplement Bradley Beal’s production, as he finished with 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers in 26 minutes. As long as Beal remains the preferred option to start, there won’t be much to gain from rostering Jones in most leagues.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #8
Grayson Allen (foot) is doubtful to play against the Kings on Friday.
Allen is expected to miss a second-straight game with this foot injury. Tyus Jones and Ryan Dunn should continue to fill out the reserve minutes on the perimeter, though neither was productive on Wednesday with Allen sidelined.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (calf) is not on the injury report against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Tyus Jones started in place of Beal on Monday, which was the second night of a back-to-back. Jones will likely return to playing a reserve role with Beal back in the rotation.
