Cameron Johnson (left hip soreness) is not on the injury report for Wednesday’s game against Toronto.
Johnson injured his hip during Sunday’s loss to the Magic, playing just 25 minutes. He isn’t on the Nets’ initial injury report for Wednesday, so the starting wing will occupy his usual place in the starting lineup. Tyrese Martin will lose out on playing time after receiving a modest boost on Sunday.
  • BKN Shooting Guard #24
Cam Thomas (left hamstring injury management) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Raptors.
Thomas returned from a month-long absence in their last game, and he will sit out the first night of the back-to-back. Ziaire Williams (knee) is questionable, and he will take on extra minutes if he plays, along with Keon Johnson and Tyrese Martin.

Cameron Johnson (left hip soreness) will not return to Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Johnson entered Sunday’s game dealing with a right hip contusion, but the left hip ended his afternoon prematurely. The Nets wing finished with nine points, three rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes. Tyrese Martin will pick up a few more rotation minutes, but he is not a must-add if Johnson misses additional time.

Cameron Johnson (right hip contusion) is out for Friday’s game against San Antonio.
Add Johnson to the list of Nets players who will not be available for Friday’s game, joining Cam Thomas and Ben Simmons to name two starters. Jalen Wilson and Tyrese Martin will play more minutes, with the former likely moving into the starting lineup.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left ankle sprain) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
Johnson is back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Bulls, the first game he’s missed this season. His return bumps Tyrese Martin to the bench, cutting into his already-low fantasy value.
  • BKN Small Forward #28
Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s Nets-Pacers game.
DFS is set to miss a fourth consecutive game. Tyrese Martin and Jalen Wilson will have opportunities to contribute significant minutes with DFS out, but it’s unclear whether one or both of them will get a starting nod.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left ankle sprain) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Wednesday.
Johnson missed a game for the first time this season on Monday, and when combined with other injuries they’re dealing with, Tyrese Martin and Keon Johnson were both part of the starting unit. If Johnson remains sidelined, they’ll likely start again, though neither is a reliable streaming option.
  • BKN Small Forward #13
Tyrese Martin got the start on Monday and contributed 15 points (5-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and three 3-pointers against the Bulls.
Outside of scoring 30 points on eight 3-pointers a few games ago, Martin hasn’t been able to contribute much value this season. In his last start, he only scored eight points in 25 minutes, and he only played eight mintues off the bench in their last game. However, he played well as a starter in this game. It’s difficult to rely on him due to the inconsistent production, but he has the upside to contribute in multiple categories.
  • BKN Small Forward #45
The Nets will start Dennis Schroder, Tyrese Martin, Keon Johnson, Jalen Wilson and Nic Claxton against Chicago on Monday.
Martin and Johnson will replace Cam Johnson and Ziaire Williams in the starting unit, with Keon getting his first start of the year. He has scored in double figures in two straight games and should keep that up as a starter. Martin has been quiet since his 30-point game, but this will be a good opportunity for him.
  • BKN Small Forward #13
The Nets will start Cameron Johnson, Tyrese Martin, Jalen Wilson, Ziaire Williams and Ben Simmons against the Magic on Friday.
Brooklyn will be without Dennis Schroder and Dorian Finney-Smith for this game, which allows Martin and Wilson to start. Wilson is back after a one-game absence, while Martin is coming off a career-game in a win over the Suns. Managers shouldn’t expect him to go for 30 points and eight 3-pointers again, but it is good to see him be rewarded for having a big game.
