Tyler Herro amassed 27 points (10-of-17 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, nine assists, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Sunday’s 104-100 win over Houston.
Herro continues to shine for the Heat, averaging 24.6 points per game over the past month. His overall production has been good for 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats during this stretch, which aligns with Herro’s season-long value. The lone concern was his ejection from Sunday’s game after getting into a fight with Houston’s Amen Thompson. While the two principals threw no punches, Thompson did manage to slam Herro to the court. Miami hosts New Orleans on Wednesday; we’ll see if Herro is subject to league discipline.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 8-of-15 from the field and 8-of-8 from the foul line in Saturday’s 120-110 loss to Atlanta, accounting for 28 points, seven rebounds, 10 assists, and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.
Herro’s production has jumped considerably recently. The Heat guard has scored 20 points or more in seven of his last eight games. Over the past three weeks, he has averaged 24.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 0.6 steals, and 3.5 3-pointers per game. Herro has provided third-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats. The Heat move on to Houston, where they’ll play their final game of Week 9 on Sunday.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro finished Thursday’s 89-88 win over Orlando with 20 points (8-of-17 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
The Heat took a little while to get going, but they gutted out the victory with Jimmy Butler again sidelined. Herro’s fallaway jumper with five-tenths of a second remaining was the difference, and he’s scored 20 points or more in six of his last seven games. Over the past three weeks, Herro has provided 4th-round value in 9-cat formats, averaging 23.0 points per game.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro had 17 points (5-of-13 FGs), 12 rebounds, nine assists, one block and two 3-pointers in the Heat’s 110-95 victory over the Nets on Monday.
With Jimmy Butler out again Monday, Herro predictably had another big game. He was one assist shy of a triple-double as the Heat beat the Nets by 15. Herro was +13 in 39 minutes and only turned the ball over once. It’s clear the 24-year-old point guard will see a boost in fantasy value if Jimmy Butler does indeed get traded this season.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro had 22 points (7-of-17 FGs), six rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers against the Magic on Saturday.
With Jimmy Butler out, Herro gave his fantasy managers a preview of what’s to come once the superstar is eventually traded. Herro led the team in shot attempts, 3-point attempts, rebounds and assists. There’s a reason the Heat have never made Herro available in trades. The point guard turns just 25 in January and can be a do-it-all star for the Heat going forward.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 11-of-24 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Friday’s 104-97 loss to Oklahoma City, accumulating 28 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
Herro has scored 23 points or more in four straight and five of his last six outings, with the improved scoring factoring into his being a top-25 player over the past two weeks. For the season, Herro continues to exceed his Yahoo ADP (81), providing 3rd-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats. With Jimmy Butler leaving Friday’s game due to an illness, Herro may have added value for Saturday’s game in Orlando.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro led the Heat with 23 points (9-of-13 FGs), four rebounds, four assists and four 3-pointers against Toronto on Thursday.
Herro’s excellent season continued in this game, and he has been especially hot as of late. He has shot better than 50% in each of their last four games while averaging 26.3 points, 5.5 assists and 4.8 triples per game. Herro is in the midst of the best year of his career, and he has been Miami’s top option on offense. The rumors have been swirling about a potential Jimmy Butler trade, but Herro won’t be impacted by any move that may or may not happen. He’ll just keep cooking.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Heat are open to trading Jimmy Butler.
Miami is open to trading Butler in the middle of his sixth season with the team. The 35-year-old forward remains a jack of all trades but is averaging less than 20.0 points per game for the first time since 2019-20. His departure would clear the way for Tyler Herro to be the clear-cut first option on offense and make room for Jaime Jaquez Jr. to become a regular starter.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 10-of-19 from the field and 9-of-9 from the foul line in Sunday’s 122-113 win over Cleveland, accumulating 34 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and five 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
Given the trend he’d established in his first four games of December, surpassing the 30-point mark twice, Herro was due for another big night on Sunday. That’s what happened, with the Heat guard putting up 34 points. That’s the most Herro has scored in a game since November 12, when he dropped 40 against the Pistons. Over the past week, Herro has provided top 25 per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 8-of-12 from the field in Saturday’s win over the Suns, accounting for 17 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
Ranking-wise, Herro has been Miami’s best fantasy option this season. He is the lone Heat player providing top-40 value in 8- and 9-cat formats heading into the team’s final two games of Week 7. Miami will host Cleveland on Saturday and won’t play again until Thursday against the Raptors.
