Tyler Herro amassed 20 points (6-of-16 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Friday’s win over Indiana.
Herro has scored 20 points or more in six straight games, with Friday’s being the first in which he failed to tally at least 24. Over the last two weeks, he’s provided 3rd-round per-game value in 9-cat formats. Among Heat players, only Bam Adebayo has been more impactful. Look for Herro’s fantasy value to remain high as long as Jimmy Butler (ankle) is sidelined.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro had 40 points (14-of-27 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists, four steals and 10 3-pointers against the Pistons on Tuesday.
Herro’s 40 points were a game-high against Detroit. Without Jimmy Butler in the lineup, Miami leaned on Herro for its offense. He had eight assists and took nearly twice as many shots as anyone else on the team. Although the Heat ultimately came up short, it was a valiant effort. Herro went 10-of-17 from behind the 3-point line, had only one turnover and was +3 in 42 minutes as the Heat lost by two in overtime.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro tallied 26 points (9-of-15 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Sunday’s win over Minnesota.
Herro has been on a roll recently, scoring 24 points or more in four straight while shooting 47.6% or better from the field in each. With Jimmy Butler (ankle) sidelined, more of the offense runs through the Heat guard, and he did an excellent job of finding his spots to score. The negative: turnovers. Herro was responsible for eight of Miami’s 22 turnovers on the night, and he’ll need to clean that up. The good news for fantasy managers is that high-turnover nights are not commonplace for him.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro logged 40 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, scoring 24 points (10-of-21 FGs) with seven rebounds, 11 assists, and four 3-pointers.
With Jimmy Butler exiting Friday’s game with a sprained ankle during the first quarter, Herro had more room to operate offensively. He scored a team-high 24 points, making it three straight of 24 or more for the Heat guard. If Butler has to miss time, look for Herro’s usage and scoring opportunities to increase.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 9-of-15 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Suns, accumulating 28 points, three rebounds, six assists, and five 3-pointers in 35 minutes.
Final possession aside, Herro had a good night in Phoenix. He’s scored 27 points or more in three of the last four games, with the recent run pushing Herro’s per-game value into the top-50. With Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo yet to find their groove, the Heat will need more scoring from Herro. Miami plays two more games in Week 3, beginning with the Nuggets on Friday.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro had 27 points (9-of-18 FGs), six rebounds, three assists, one block and five 3-pointers against the Kings on Monday.
Herro worked well with Jimmy Butler on Monday as the tandem provided most of the offense for the Heat. Herro drilled 5-of-11 3-point attempts, which was a game-high. He’ll look to build on another strong performance as the Heat take on the Suns Wednesday.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro shot 12-of-20 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks, accounting for 34 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and eight 3-pointers in 35 minutes.
Herro was the only Heat player to finish Wednesday’s defeat with over 20 points. His 34 points were a season-high, and he scored them on 60% shooting. Herro has provided top-70 per-game value this far, slightly higher than his Yahoo ADP. It isn’t unrealistic to expect this production level for the entire season, if not better.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro logged 32 minutes in Saturday’s win over Charlotte, finishing with 22 points (7-of-15 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
After Tre Mann cut Miami’s lead to three points with 1:36 remaining, Herro made the night’s biggest shot. His 3-pointer with 1:14 to go extended the Heat lead to six, with four Jimmy Butler free throws helping to seal the deal. No one played exceptionally well in Wednesday’s loss to Orlando, but Herro has scored 36 points in Miami’s first two games. He’ll look to build on this performance when the Heat face Detroit on Monday.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro played 29 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Orlando, accounting for 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Herro didn’t have the best opening night but performed considerably better than most of his teammates. Injuries plagued him throughout the 2023-24 campaign, impacting Herro’s ADP. He can provide reliable middle-round fantasy value, even with the Heat having Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Terry Rozier in their starting lineup.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro provided solid value on Wednesday with 19 points (7-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers against Atlanta.
Herro has gotten off to a solid start so far during the preseason, and that continued in this game. He’s coming off of a disappointing season that was plagued by injuries, and the Heat will be looking to block out the noise and have a bounce back season. Herro being healthy will certainly help make that happen, which makes him an intriguing option to draft in the middle rounds. After three straight top-100 seasons, we’ll see if Herro is able to take another step forward this season.
