Ty Lawson left Wednesday’s regular season finale with a left ankle sprain and will not return.
This is not what the Nuggets needed with the postseason around the corner, although reports are that the injury isn’t believed to be serious. Lawson is a critical piece to a Denver team that’s hoping to make a postseason run, and his absence would mean a serious helping of Raymond Felton.

Ty Lawson has been banned for life from the Chinese Basketball Association.
Lawson posted some unwise comments on his Instagram account, including a photo of him in an apparent strip club, and that will do it for his playing days in China. Lawson was a talented ballplayer, but consistently making the wrong off-court decisions has hindered his playing career. He’ll be 33 next season, so it’s extremely unlikely he’ll receive an opportunity to return to an NBA club, but perhaps, he’ll be able to ink a deal with one of the European teams.

Ty Lawson has reportedly signed a deal with the Fujian Sturgeons of China.
This will be Lawson’s second season in the CBA, and with him set to turn 32 this year, there’s a decent chance we won’t see him again in the NBA.

Ty Lawson has signed a deal in China with Shandong.
Lawson worked out for a few NBA teams over the summer but wasn’t able to land a roster spot in the league.

Andre Miller scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, seven assists, and one steal in the Nuggets’ 114-99 blowout loss to the Spurs on Thursday.
Arron Afflalo chipped in with 19 points on 6-of-16 shooting (including three treys) to go with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the loss. Both are sell-high guys with Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) looming in the distance, not to mention Ty Lawson (ankle) and Rudy Fernandez (back).

Ty Lawson (ankle) is no longer listed on the Nuggets’ injury report.
The ankle sprain that Lawson suffered prior to the All-Star break was just a Grade 1 issue. He logged 37 minutes on Wednesday night and emerged no worse for wear. Lawson has missed just seven games over the last two seasons combined.
  • WAS Point Guard #4
Ty Lawson returned from a two-game absence with a sprained ankle and had 18 points, five rebounds, nine assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 8-of-15 shooting.
He scored 11 in the fourth quarter and looked fantastic. His strong play limited Andre Miller tonight, as Miller finished with four points and five assists on 1-of-4 shooting in 29 minutes. Lawson is a must-start player going forward, while Miller can be used by owners in need of help at point guard. The 29 minutes were a good sign for Miller, but he’s scored in single digits in three of his last five games.

Ty Lawson (ankle), who had missed the last two games, will play against the Blazers on Wednesday.
Lawson is feeling good after practicing in full on Tuesday and is ready to give it a go on Wednesday. Owners need to make sure that he’s in the lineup as he’s averaging 15.0 points, 6.1 assists and 1.4 treys this year.

Ty Lawson had 26 points, nine assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 9-of-19 shooting on Wednesday.
He’s heating up at the right time and his young legs should allow him to continue to play well. Keep riding him until further notice. The Nuggets fell to the Raptors, and Lawson’s teammates all posted mediocre lines tonight, which contributed to the unlikely defeat.

Ty Lawson hit just 1-of-8 shots on Friday against the Suns, scoring two points with two rebounds, eight assists, and a steal.
Andre Miller (15 points, seven boards, seven assists) had a big night and so did Arron Afflalo (30 points), so Lawson really wasn’t needed. Chalk it up to an off-night and move on.
