  • SAC Power Forward #41
Trey Lyles (illness) is available for Sunday’s game against Portland.
While Lyles has been a dependable option within the Kings’ rotation, he has not done enough to merit being rostered in most active fantasy leagues.

Trey Lyles (illness) is questionable to play against Portland on Sunday.
Lyles has played a decent-sized role off the bench since returning from an MCL sprain, but that hasn’t led to much fantasy production. Sasha Vezenkov and Kessler Edwards will likely soak up some minutes of Lyles sits out, but neither will be worth streaming.

Keegan Muray (left calf soreness) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Thursday.
Murray was able to play through this calf issue on Tuesday, but there is a chance that he sits out on Thursday. It is also the first night of a back-to-back, so it wouldn’t be shocking if he sat out at least one of the next two games, though he may opt to play through it with how tight the standings are. Trey Lyles and Kessler Edwards will see extra minutes if Keegan can’t play, but they aren’t intriguing fantasy options.

Keegan Murray (left calf soreness) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Tuesday.
Murray hasn’t missed a game in nearly a month, but if he is forced to sit out on Tuesday, Trey Lyles and Kessler Edwards will likely take on some extra minutes. However, on a day with 14 games being played, there will be better streaming options.

Keegan Murray finished Tuesday’s win over the Clippers with 19 points (8-of-18 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
After scoring 25 points in Sunday’s win over Utah, Murray tallied 19 more in Tuesday’s comfortable victory. Over the past two weeks, he has averaged 18.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.3 blocks, and 3.0 3-pointers per game, shooting 50.4% from the field and 75.0% from the foul line. That production has been good for 4th-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats. Also providing solid value recently has been Trey Lyles, a top-100 player in 8-cat formats over the past two weeks. He finished Tuesday’s victory with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes. With Malik Monk sidelined, Lyles is worth a look in deep leagues.

Trey Lyles returned to the lineup on Sunday and contributed 11 points (3-of-8 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, one block and three 3-pointers against Utah.
Lyles missed the team’s last nine games, but he returned to the rotation for Sunday’s game. He has been an important bench piece for them, and with Malik Monk out for the next 4-6 weeks, they’ll need Lyles to provide some reserve offense consistently if they want to make noise in the playoffs. He logged 19 minutes in this game, which was enough time for him to knock down three 3-pointers. He should continue to play a large role off the bench, and his minutes should go up as he plays more games. However, he isn’t a player to target in standard leagues.

Trey Lyles (sprained left MCL) and Sasha Vezenkov (right ankle sprain) will play against the Jazz on Sunday.
Both forwards have been sidelined for a while, but they will both make their individual returns at the same time. Kessler Edwards has been the backup power forward, but Lyles should retake that role. However, neither of these guys will be standard league options as long as Sacramento’s starting lineup is healthy.

Trey Lyles has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Lyles was injured during Tuesday’s win over the Bucks and sat out the Kings’ win over the Lakers the following night. He’ll be sidelined for at least two weeks, likely taking him off the board in deep fantasy leagues. Chris Duarte could pick up rotation minutes off the bench, but the more likely impact is that starters Harrison Barnes and Keegan Murray play more. There’s no need to stream Duarte.

Trey Lyles (left knee sprain) did not participate in Friday’s practice.
Lyles injured his knee during Tuesday’s win over the Bucks, and the Kings diagnosed him with a sprain. His absence from practice does not bode well for his availability on Saturday when Sacramento hosts the Knicks. If Lyles sits, starters Harrison Barnes and Keegan Murray could be asked to absorb some of the available minutes. Chris Duarte could enter the rotation but would not be worth the streaming risk.

Keegan Murray (left ankle sprain) and Kevin Huerter (right leg contusion) are questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Lakers.
Murray sat out Tuesday after sustaining the ankle injury Sunday, but he’s got a chance to take the court after just one game on the sidelines. Huerter is a late addition to the injury report, but both players’ statuses are up in the air. Malik Monk, Chris Duarte and Harrison Barnes could all be in line for expanded minutes, especially with Trey Lyles (knee) already ruled out.
