TNT’s Chris Haynes reports that Trevelin Queen will return to the Magic on a two-way deal.
Queen played on a two-way deal last season and appeared in 14 games for Orlando. In three games with 25 or more minutes, the New Mexico State product averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.7 blocks and 1.0 triples.

Jalen Suggs (illness) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against Oklahoma City.
After an illness limited him to 14 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Heat, Suggs is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game. That’s excellent news for the Magic and fantasy managers, especially with Markelle Fultz (left knee) and Joe Ingles (left ankle) sidelined for injury management reasons. The absences will likely result in more minutes for Trevelin Queen and Anthony Black, with the former being the better deep-league streaming option recently.

According to Orlando Magic PR, “Wagner’s return to play will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation and treatment.”
Wagner is out Friday against the Nuggets, and the status update is vague enough for us to treat his absence as indefinite. Trevelin Queen and Caleb Houstan are worth a look after both played well Wednesday against Sacramento after Wagner left early.

Gary Harris (right calf strain) will not return to Wednesday’s matchup with the Kings.
The injuries continue to pile up for Orlando. Harris and Franz Wagner both exited early, and Paolo Banchero is currently in the locker room because of a knee issue. Cole Anthony wasn’t able to suit up at all, and Markelle Fultz has been sidelined for weeks. That resulted in Trevelin Queen and Caleb Houstan starting the second half. If they’re this banged up for Friday’s game in Denver, Queen and Houstan may have a chance to provide streaming value.

Franz Wagner (right ankle sprain) will not return to Wednesday’s matchup with the Kings.
Wagner injured his ankle while defending a drive in the first quarter, and his night will end after playing just five minutes. Caleb Houstan and Trevelin Queen played extra minutes in the first half and should help fill the void for the remainder of the game.

Trevelin Queen has signed a one-year deal with the Magic, per Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes.
Queen won the 2022 G-League MVP and spent time with the Pacers last season. Despite his success, there isn’t much of an opportunity for him to see minutes in Orlando. The odds of him making a fantasy impact this season are slim.

Playing 23 minutes in Wednesday’s 126-106 loss to the Thunder, Trevelin Queen finished with 13 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks, and one 3-pointer.
Appearing in his fourth game of the season, Queen took advantage of the extended minutes picked up due to the game being a blowout. The nine rebounds were a career-high, and the 13 points were four shy of his prior best, but this night should not influence fantasy managers. Credit Queen for making the most of his opportunity, but that’s all that this night was.

T.J. McConnell (non-COVID illness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
McConnell did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Blazers, with his absence freeing up a few minutes for Trevelin Queen off the bench. Not only would McConnell bump Queen from the rotation if he’s cleared to play, but he would also be worthy of consideration as a deep-league streamer. Starting point guard Tyrese Haliburton (groin) has already been ruled out, meaning Andrew Nembhard will get another start. McConnell could help get the rookie more rest as he played 37 minutes in Sunday’s defeat.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that Trevelin Queen has agreed to a two-way deal with Indiana.
Queen played well for Houston last season and in the Summer League for Philadelphia. Though he’s likely to spend most of the season in the G-League, there’s no ruling out some silly season heroics, especially on a Pacers team that’s projected to finish with third worst record in the Association.

The Sixers have waived Trevelin Queen, per Ketih Pompey.
That puts their camp roster at 19 players and Queen will try to land with another team this season. Queen played well in Summer League and even led the Sixers in scoring in one game, but wasn’t strong enough to make the team’s roster.
