Trevelin Queen posted a full line on Sunday with 11 points (3-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers against Utah.

Queen is still on a two-way contract, and he barely saw the floor prior to the middle of December. However, with Orlando dealing with injuries to Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs, Queen has been able to be part of the rotation a few times in recent weeks. He set a new season-high for assists in this game and scored in double figures for the second time this season. It’s great to see him play well, but he isn’t a player to consider rostering in standard leagues.

Trevelin Queen (illness) is available for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Queen is back after missing Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons, giving the Magic added perimeter depth off the bench. With Anthony Black sidelined Queen should play rotation minutes. However, it’s unlikely to be enough to make him worth rostering in most leagues.

Trevelin Queen (illness) is listed as probable to play against the Raptors on Friday.
Queen has had a few games where he has played significant minutes, but with Jalen Suggs healthy, that won’t be the case when he likely returns from a one-game absence on against Toronto.

Trevelin Queen (illness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pistons.
While Jalen Suggs is available to play after exiting Sunday’s win over the Nets with an injury, Queen has been ruled out (along with Anthony Black). The absences mean more rotation minutes for Cole Anthony, who had fallen in the pecking order before Suggs’ injury.

Anthony Black finished Friday’s loss to the Knicks with nine points (2-of-9 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 30 minutes.
Magic coach Jamahl Mosley changed his starting lineup for Friday’s game, with Black replacing Trevelin Queen for defensive reasons. Black didn’t shoot the ball well, and the overall stat line was limited. Queen wasn’t much better, tallying nine points (3-of-7 FGs), one rebound, three assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes. Friday’s game was evidence that there may not be a great streaming option, regardless of who starts next to Jalen Suggs moving forward.

The Magic will start Jalen Suggs, Anthony Black, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tristan da Silva and Goga Bitadze against the Knicks on Friday.
Trevelin Queen has started in Orlando’s last two games, but he will be replaced by Black in this game. Queen won’t be worth rostering, but as a starter, Black should play a large enough role to be worth streaming.

Gary Harris (left hamstring strain) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Heat.
Harris has missed Orlando’s last 12 games, most recently sitting out Monday’s win over the Celtics after being considered questionable on the initial injury report. In addition to Anthony Black and Cole Anthony playing more minutes off the bench, Trevelin Queen moved into the starting lineup for Monday’s win. Queen played 34 minutes and is worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

The Magic will start Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tristan da Silva and Goga Bitadze against Boston on Monday.
Queen will get the first start of his career, replacing Wendell Carter Jr. in the starting unit. With Moritz Wagner done for the season, Orlando will have to stagger the center minutes between Bitadze and WCJ instead of starting them together. Suggs also returns to the starting lineup, which pushes Anthony Black back to the bench.

TNT’s Chris Haynes reports that Trevelin Queen will return to the Magic on a two-way deal.
Queen played on a two-way deal last season and appeared in 14 games for Orlando. In three games with 25 or more minutes, the New Mexico State product averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.7 blocks and 1.0 triples.

Jalen Suggs (illness) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against Oklahoma City.
After an illness limited him to 14 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Heat, Suggs is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game. That’s excellent news for the Magic and fantasy managers, especially with Markelle Fultz (left knee) and Joe Ingles (left ankle) sidelined for injury management reasons. The absences will likely result in more minutes for Trevelin Queen and Anthony Black, with the former being the better deep-league streaming option recently.
