Trayce Jackson-Davis tallied 10 points (2-of-4 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in Sunday’s win over the Pacers.
Jackson-Davis made the most of his debut appearance for the Raptors, recording a double-double. While 16 minutes aren’t a big deal for most players, TJD met or exceeded that number just 14 times with the Warriors this season before being traded. The issue moving forward is that the Raptors were shorthanded on Sunday: Jakob Poeltl (back) was out, and Collin Murray-Boyles left the game in the first half with a thumb injury. While Jackson-Davis played well, fantasy managers should not overreact.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is out for the rest of Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Murray-Boyles had been playing through a left thumb injury when he aggravated it during the first half of Sunday’s game. His early exit means that the Raptors will rely more on Sandro Mamukelashvili, with Trayce Jackson-Davis providing added depth in his first appearance for the team. Ja’Kobe Walter started the third quarter as the Raptors went without a center.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl (back, conditioning) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Poeltl has been out since December, and that won’t change on Sunday. However, the past few days have been spent getting his conditioning up to par rather than rehabbing his lower back, which is a positive. Collin Murray-Boyles and Sandro Mamukelashvili will again play most of the available minutes, and Trayce Jackson-Davis is available to make his Raptors debut.
  • ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Raptors have acquired Trayce Jackson-Davis from the Warriors for a 2026 second-round pick via the Lakers.
The 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Jackson-Davis’ playing time decreased in each of his three seasons with the Warriors. He was essentially passed in the rotation by Quinten Post, a second-round pick in the 2024 draft. Jackson-Davis appeared in 36 games this season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. This transaction is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball, as the Raptors added a frontcourt player in last summer’s draft lottery (Collin Murray-Boyles) and in free agency (Sandro Mamukelashvili). Add in Jakob Poeltl, provided his lower back issues subside, and Jackson-Davis may struggle to carve out a role for himself in Toronto.

Draymond Green (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Green sprained his left ankle during Monday’s loss to the Clippers but was able to remain in the game. If he’s unable to play against the Bucks, that would leave a massive hole in the Warriors’ rotation, especially defensively. Will Richard, Gui Santos and Trayce Jackson-Davis are three players whose minutes could increase if Draymond sits
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green was ejected from Saturday’s game against the Jazz with 2:25 remaining in the second quarter.
Back in the lineup after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Thunder, Green picked up two technical fouls in quick succession after arguing that Utah’s Kyle Filipowski should have been called for a three-second violation. He finished with eight points (3-of-4 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one three-pointer. Trayce Jackson-Davis replaced Green in the lineup after his ejection.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (knee) is available to play against the Thunder on Friday.
As expected, Jackson-Davis will suit up against OKC. With Draymond Green (rest) sidelined, TJD may take on extra minutes, but he won’t be worth streaming.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (knee) is probable for Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Despite dealing with a case of right patellar tendinitis, Jackson-Davis is on track to play Friday night. While there may be a few more minutes available with Draymond Green (rest) out, TJD is unlikely to provide the production needed to achieve fantasy relevance.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) is available to play against the Raptors on Sunday.
Jackson-Davis was a late addition to the injury report, but he will play through the illness. He’ll continue to occupy a role off the bench that hasn’t been large enough for him to make a fantasy impact this season.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (illness) is questionable to play against the Raptors on Sunday.
Jackson-Davis is a late addition to the injury report, and there is a chance he misses this game. Quinten Post and Al Horford should take on extra minutes if Jackson-Davis is unavailable.
