Tobias Harris accumulated 17 points (6-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, four blocks and three three-pointers in 43 minutes in a Game 5 win over the Knicks on Tuesday.
Harris has been the Pistons’ best defensive matchup for Knicks big Karl-Anthony Towns, even on nights when KAT goes off. Tobias was outstanding defensively in Game 5, with the six “stocks” being the most he’s recorded in a game this series, and Towns shot 5-of-14 from the field. The veteran Pistons forward was also solid offensively, stepping up in a big way to extend the series to Game 6. Detroit will host the Knicks on Thursday night, and Little Caesars Arena is expected to be electric.

Tobias Harris recorded a double-double on Monday with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer in Game 2 against the Knicks.
After scoring 24 points in Game 1, Harris didn’t have as much success as a scorer on Monday. However, he was able to make a big impact on the glass. He was one of three Pistons to grab at least 12 rebounds in a game where they outrebounded the Knicks 48-34. That ended up being a big factor in this game. Harris was ran out of Philadelphia for his poor postseason performances, but his first two games with Detroit have been great. He’ll look to keep it going in Game 3 in Detroit on Thursday.

Tobias Harris accounted for 25 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two blocks and four three-pointers in 40 minutes in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Knicks.
Saturday’s series opener was a tale of two halves for Harris. Shooting 7-of-10 from the field, he scored 22 points in the first half. Harris would only attempt three shots after halftime, going silent as the Pistons went from leading by eight at the end of the third quarter to trailing by 13 due to a 21-0 Knicks run. While the overall line was encouraging, the Pistons need a more consistent Harris if they’re to win this series. Game 2 is on Monday night.

Tobias Harris logged 28 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Knicks, finishing with 17 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Harris looked pretty good in his first action since a heel injury sidelined him for three games. He shot the ball well, including a 3-of-5 night from beyond the arc, and finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Harris hasn’t been the most prolific fantasy option, but his production has been consistent. Detroit plays Milwaukee twice to end its regular season, and they could see the Knicks again in the first round.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham, Tim Hardaway Jr., Ausar Thompson, Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren will start Thursday’s game against the Knicks.
Cunningham and Harris were probable for Thursday’s game, so the status upgrades mean the Pistons can go with their usual starting five. Dennis Schroder will come off the bench, which limits his fantasy value.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham (knee) and Tobias Harris (heel) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Knicks.
Cunningham and Harris are on track to play Thursday night, with the latter having missed the last three games with a heel injury. The game is the first of two in as many nights for Detroit, which will face the Bucks on Friday. If Harris returns and Cunningham is cleared to play on Thursday, Dennis Schroder will head to the bench.
  • DET Small Forward #12
Tobias Harris (heel) is out for Monday’s game against the Kings.
Harris will miss a third-straight game with a heel injury. Dennis Schroder received the starting nod for Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies and should remain in that role. Harris’s absence also increases Malik Beasley’s value, despite Beasley coming off the bench.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (leg) and Tobias Harris (heel) are questionable for Monday’s game against the Kings.
Duren and Harris were held out of Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies, with Isaiah Stewart and Dennis Schroder replacing them in the starting lineup. While Schroder’s fantasy value is impacted more by Cade Cunningham’s presence in the lineup, Beef Stew’s value will be raised if Duren cannot play, and he gets another start.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham amassed 25 points (9-of-24 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and two three-pointers in 28 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
Cunningham returned to the Pistons’ lineup on Saturday after missing six games with a calf injury. While the shot was a bit off, he finished one steal shy of a complete stat line. Interestingly, Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff kept Dennis Schroder in the starting lineup, moving Malik Beasley to the bench instead. Schroder (10/2/4 with two three-pointers) was able to preserve some of his fantasy value, and there wasn’t much change for Beasley (11 points, three rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers), either. How long Schroder remains in the starting lineup depends on Tobias Harris, who did not play on Saturday due to a heel injury.
  • DET Small Forward #12
Tobias Harris (heel) is out for Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Harris has been downgraded from questionable to out, which means Dennis Schroder will remain in the starting lineup. Schroder is worth streaming in some standard leagues, even with Cade Cunningham on track to return from a left calf contusion. Also worth rostering is Malik Beasley, who will have a key role off the bench.
