Thanasis Antetokounmpo will undergo surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Antetokounmpo will undergo surgery, which means that he will be sidelined for a while. A specific timeline isn’t clear at this point, but he will likely miss time at the beginning of next season. However, that won’t impact fantasy basketball whatsoever.

Damian Lillard (left adductor soreness), MarJon Beauchamp (left ankle sprain), and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (left hamstring soreness) are available for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Lillard is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to Oklahoma City, which means Malik Beasley will return to the bench. Beasley’s streaming value takes a significant hit with the lineup change. As for Beauchamp and Thanasis, they’re unlikely to factor into the proceedings unless the game gets out of hand.
  • MIL Point Guard #0
Damian Lillard (left adductor soreness), MarJon Beauchamp (left ankle sprain), and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (left hamstring soreness) are probable for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Lillard is on track to play after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Thunder, as Milwaukee still needs a win to clinch the 2-seed in the East. Malik Beasley replaced him in the lineup on Friday, finishing with 17 points and three 3-pointers. As for Beauchamp and Thanasis, their availability does not impact fantasy basketball or the Bucks’ rotation.
  • MIL Small Forward #3
MarJon Beauchamp (left ankle sprain) and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (left hamstring soreness) are available for Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Beauchamp and Thanasis are available to play, and due to the Bucks’ many absences, both may be in the rotation. However, they won’t get the run needed to impact fantasy leagues.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo (left hamstring soreness) is probable for Friday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Despite his appearance on the injury report, Antetokounmpo is on track to play Thursday night. Young brother Giannis (calf) remains sidelined, but that isn’t enough to get Thanasis the rotation minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIL Small Forward #43
Thanasis Antetokounmpo (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Nuggets.
Thanasis has been cleared to play on Monday but is unlikely to get the minutes needed to be relevant in fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • MIL Small Forward #43
Thanasis Antetokounmpo (illness) has been added to the injury report for Monday’s game against Denver.
Antetokounmpo is a very late addition to the injury report, but his status won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIL Shooting Guard #5
Malik Beasley finished with 13 points (5-of-10 FG, 3-of-7 3-Pointers), four assists and two steals across 22 minutes Sunday in a 105-102 win over the Bulls.
Beasley joined the Bucks this offseason and got his first taste of action with the team in Sunday’s preseason victory. He led the starters in scoring and finished behind Thanasis Antetokounmpo (14 points) and MarJon Beauchamp (18 points, nine rebounds) for team lead in that department. Beasley has a chance to start for Milwaukee alongside Damian Lillard in Milwaukee’s new-look offense, and a boost in minutes could make him a worthwhile option in 12-team fantasy hoops leagues thanks to his elite three-point shooting and ability to score and rack up steals.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Thanasis Antetokounmpo has agreed on a deal to return to the Bucks in 2023-24.
According to Shams, Antetokounmpo considered joining other teams, but he ultimately chose to return to Milwaukee and play with his brother Giannis. His brother may be a first-round fantasy pick for those drafting with a punt-FT% build in mind, but Thanasis will be off the fantasy radar in even the deepest of leagues.
  • Point Guard #28
Lindell Wigginton recorded a double-double on Friday with 25 points (10-for-20 FGs), five rebounds, 11 assists, one block and four 3-pointers in a 137-114 loss to Memphis.
Milwaukee has locked up the best record in the league, so they played without the majority of their usual rotation in this game. That allowed Wigginton to start and play 41 minutes in this game. He set career-highs for points, assists and 3-pointers. Jae Crowder added 24 points as a starter, while Goran Dragic chipped in 14 off the bench, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo scored 12. Thanasis, Wigginton and MarJon Beauchamp all played over 38 minutes, and they should see similar roles on Sunday.
