Drew Eubanks (right ankle soreness) is questionable to play against Minnesota on Sunday.
If Eubanks isn’t able to suit up, Bol Bol, Royce O’Neale and Thaddeus Young will all be candidates to soak up a few extra minutes. However, with Jusuf Nurkic healthy, there won’t be much of a fantasy impact.
  • PHX Center #20
Jusuf Nurkic (left calf soreness) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Nurkic is back on the injury report due to a sore calf. Should he not play on Friday, Drew Eubanks would move into the starting lineup and be worth streaming. Also, Thaddeus Young would slide into the back end of the rotation. Unlike Eubanks, he would not be worth streaming in most leagues.
  • PHX Center #20
Jusuf Nurkic (right ankle sprain) has been cleared to play in Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Nurkic is back after missing Wednesday’s win over Denver, which means Drew Eubanks will come off the bench. There’s no need to roster Eubanks, and Thaddeus Young will likely drop out of the rotation entirely.

Jusuf Nurkic (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Nurkic did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Nuggets, with Drew Eubanks filling the void in the starting lineup. Also impacted by Nurk’s absence was Thaddeus Young, who took on the backup center responsibilities. If Nurkic can play on Friday, Young would drop out of the rotation entirely.
  • PHX Power Forward #14
Drew Eubanks finished Wednesday’s win over the Nuggets with five points (2-of-3 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, and one assist in 27 minutes.
Eubanks moved into the starting lineup on Wednesday because Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) was sidelined, and he didn’t offer much production. That wasn’t surprising, as in five starts this season, he has averaged 4.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 22.6 minutes. Eubanks did not provide any defensive stats on Wednesday, which disappointed the few who streamed him. Also impacted by Nurkic’s absence was Thaddeus Young (6/9/2/1 in 18 minutes), who played backup center minutes after being out of the rotation. Neither he nor Eubanks will be worth streaming if Nurkic is unavailable for Friday’s game in Oklahoma City.
  • PHX Power Forward #21
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Thaddeus Young will sign with the Phoenix Suns.
Young spent the last two seasons with the Raptors and contributed meaningfully when needed. He’s unlikely to play a significant role with Phoenix, as he’ll be behind starters Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic and competing for backup minutes with the likes of Bol Bol, Drew Eubanks and Udoka Azubuike.
  • BKN Power Forward #21
The Nets will waive Thad Young according to The NY Post’s Brian Lewis.
There’s no actionable fantasy advice with this move. Young might be able to provide value in deeper leagues if he lands with the right team.
  • BKN Power Forward #21
Thaddeus Young has been traded to Brooklyn as part of the Spencer Dinwiddie/Dennis Schroder trade, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Young is heading back to Brooklyn, which is where he played to close out the 2014-15 season and for the entirety of the 2015-16 season. Young was able to provide solid value when Jakob Poeltl was sidelined, but he hasn’t been part of the rotation for most of this season. He will be a solid depth piece for the Nets, but he will likely be too far down the pecking order in the frontcourt to retain standard league value.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #33
Gary Trent Jr. (lower back stiffness) left Monday’s loss to New Orleans after just 15 minutes.
GTJ was in the starting lineup for this one, but a back injury forced him out after 15 minutes, and he finished the game with two points and a rebound on 1-of-5 shooting. Thad Young started the second half in his place but logged only 15 minutes. The Raptors went 12 deep in this 38-point loss, with Gradey Dick (22 points, four triples, 30 minutes) getting the biggest boost off the bench. If Trent Jr. is sidelined for any amount of time moving forward, Dick could see an uptick in playing time, but keep in mind RJ Barrett was out Monday, likely accounting for the unusual minutes distribution.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl accumulated 19 points (8-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots in 33 minutes in Sunday’s 135-127 double-overtime loss to the Thunder.
In his second game back after missing nearly a month with a sprained ankle, Poeltl recorded his first double-double since January 7. Also, the 19 points are a season-high for the veteran center, ranked just outside the top 100 in 8- and 9-cat per-game value. With the Raptors visiting New Orleans on Monday, fantasy managers should consider Poeltl questionable. Thaddeus Young (6/5/4/1/1 in 19 minutes) would be back on the radar as a deep-league streaming possibility if Poeltl doesn’t play.
