Udonis Haslem (personal) has been ruled out for Friday night’s Heat game against the Raptors.
Haslem is not with the team in Toronto for personal reasons, but is expected to rejoin the team in time for Sunday’s game against the Celtics. With Mike Miller still out with an ankle injury, Terrel Harris will be active for the Heat on Friday in a backup role.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
Terrel Harris scored 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting (no threes) with six rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Harris had one other nice line this season and that’s it. We’ll let you know if he does it again.
  • ATL Center #45
Dexter Pittman scored a career-high 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting with two rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Pittman has only been useful in a handful of games this season and has no fantasy value. Terrel Harris scored eight points with six rebounds and four assists, playing 35 minutes in the blowout win over the Bobcats.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
Terrel Harris will start at shooting guard in Monday’s game against the Nets.
We thought it would be James Jones with Dwyane Wade resting, but coach Erik Spoelstra is going with Harris. The undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State played 35 minutes on Friday, posting eight points, six rebounds and four assists.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
Terrel Harris started for Dwyane Wade (rest) on Monday against the Nets, scoring seven points on 3-of-5 shooting (including a three) with zero rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes.
Harris had an interesting eight-point, six-rebound, four-assist line on Friday, but as you can see he has a ways to go before he should be relied upon in a fantasy league.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
The Heat have kept guard Terrel Harris on their regular-season roster.
Harris earned a spot on the team with his hard work and enthusiasm, and he’s little more than a promising project player for the Heat. Don’t expect to see him in the rotation this year.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #31
Because of a thigh bruise for Shane Battier, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has said doesn’t feel comfortable playing him more than 25 minutes per game right now.
Hopefully Spoelstra will be willing to amp up Battier’s minutes soon, especially with Dwayne Wade and LeBron James dinged up for the Heat. Terrel Harris played six minutes for Miami on Wednesday and the rookie may be in line for at least that many again on Thursday night.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
Terrel Harris scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (including a three) with 14 rebounds and four assists in 44 minutes off the bench in Thursday’s triple-overtime win.
This could easily be the line he tells his grandchildren about, and if Harris does anything remotely noteworthy in a regulation game we’ll let you know.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
Guard Terrel Harris, who is an unrestricted free agent after the Heat failed to give him a qualifying offer, is still working with the team and could end up on the roster at the start of the season.
The Heat have 13 players under contract with two spots to fill, and while it’s a long shot, Harris could end up getting one of them. But even if he does, he won’t see enough minutes to have fantasy value, even in very deep leagues.
  • POR Shooting Guard #24
The Heat did not make a qualifying offer to guard Terrel Harris, making him an unrestricted free agent.
He’s free to sign with any team, but we doubt GMs are lining up to get their hands on him.
